  • Best show ever!

by KatCam on 2012-10-14MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

LOVED IT!!! Fantastic performance, great crowed interaction, the visuals between sets were funny and fresh. A great mix of classic favourites with new material. Overall, Weird Al and his group of merry men put on another great performance, I already cant wait for the next time they are in town :)

Show was an excellent non stop delight. It covered meories from the beginning upto recent hits. Only thing missing was a full playing of Like a Surgeon.

  • Better every time!

by gooo on 2012-10-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

We see Weird Al every time he comes to town, and this was the best show yet. Fast paced. Sound was exceptional and well-balanced, with the exception of a couple of songs when Al's voice was a little bit overpowered by the music.

  • Awesome Concert!!

by Moldavia on 2012-10-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Weird Al was awesome in concert. First time I got to see him live and it was a very good concert. There was quite the age differences throughout the audience from young to old and everyone had an awesome time. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

  • wierd al is one talented guy

by UlrikeVanessa on 2012-10-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

It was the best concert that I have been to in a long time! He is an awesome entertainer and gets everybody in his band involved in the show with singing and also costume changes. I totally lost track of time, that's how good the performance was. So worth going to, even if you don't really know his songs!

  • Weird Al Delivers

by CanadianFarmboy on 2012-10-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Entertainment from start to finish. Every song is recognized by the audience. Al has such a large catalogue of songs, it is hard to please everyone. The fan base is diverse, so the wishes are diverse. Good selection of songs. The video betwen songs was good. There is a lot of material there also.

  • Classic Weird Al.

by AlphaLackey on 2012-10-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Three decades later, and Al was still going strong. This was reflected both in the all-ages nature of the audience and the nice sampling of classic and newer selections. There were occasional patches where the lyrics were hard to hear, with the music drowning out the microphones. Other than those minor inconveniences, the show was awesome. Attended with my teenage son, we both had a blast.

Amazing all around performance as only Weird Al can provide. A good mix of his new and classics.

We took our son (10 years old) to see Wierd Al. It was all I expected and more! I would go see him again and again and again! My son told me it was the best night of his life....so far! LOL

  • Weird Al was unforgettable!!!

by imsharkbait on 2011-06-09Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show. Had a variety of old and new stuff, even enjoyed the medley of verses from numerous older songs, even couch potato in which a video was never shot because Eminem is a douche. I was so glad he even did Canadian Idiot because us Canadians have a sense of humor unlike some people. A thoroughly entertaining show. Definitely gonna enjoy the show July 16th of this year.

  • Wierd Al is as great as ever!

by OldBob on 2010-08-16MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Where to begin...? He had a great mix of the old stuff and the new stuff. He used all the costumes from twenty years ago, still in their original packaging. Here's a conversation I've assumed to have occurred: WAY's manager: "How are we going to fill time between songs when you're changing costumes? Dancing girls? Penguins and top hats?" WAY: "Are you nuts?!?! Do you know how much dancing girls with top hats eat? That's way too expensive!" WAY's M: "No. The girls don't have hats. Just the penguins." WAY: "Oh. Well, why don't we just throw up some reruns of Al TV?" WAY's M: "I like the way you think, you long-haired freak, you!"

  • Weird Al is awesome!

by Maahzhaah on 2010-08-08MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Weird Al puts on a very entertaining show every time. I've seen him the past three times he's played in Winnipeg and loved each show. The whole Weird Al concert experience is great, especially when he engages the audience in the show. Love the video clips between songs and the many costume changes as well. Will definitely go see him again.

  • A genius at what he does

by joeberg on 2010-08-08MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen a lot of concerts, but never have i laughed so hard or been as completely entertained as i was at this one. Al and his band sounded great. You can tell that they really have the chemistry down from years of playing together. The giant screens with segments of al tv fit in perfectly. Having that used as a small interludes so they could change into costumes for the songs worked out great. I loved the fact that he still uses all the costumes and mannerisms he did in the videos for each song. Dare to be stupid was especially good for me. When he went into the crowd to sing was a great part too. The two standing ovations the man recieved did not do him and his show justice. If you have never seen him before, make sure you do on his next time around. Or your life will lose all meaning

  • Weird Al is a true entertainer !!!

    by Luigi4Toes on 2010-08-08MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

I really couldn't believe how good Al's show was. The costume changes , the video's , I was laughing from start to finish !!! Its too bad he only did one encore. If Al comes back to Winnipeg I will go see him again. AND the band was fantastic !!!
