Amazingly Weird!
by MissChris01 on 2015-09-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5The Weird Al show was 100% amazingly weird, funny, fun and entertaining! My husband and I took our 2 boys to this show, they are 11 and 7 years old. Our whole family loves Weird Al, so this was the perfect concert for the whole family! We laughed, we cheered and sang along. I highly recommend this show. Weird Al is an incredible talent and he shows it in his live performance. If you like comedy and music you'll love this.

Weird Al was weird and wonderful as always. This is the 4th time I have seen him in concert, it is refreshed every time some of the old hits some of the new. I liked the venue that it was all ages so that my children could attend.

Engaging and fun! Best concert I've been too! Everyone was on their feet enjoying themselves.
Absolutely Entertaining
by TrishR on 2015-09-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5This show was absolutely the most entertaining show I've ever seen. From the moment he started his show on the outside of the building to the Star Wars ending it was amazing. Just about every song had a costume change and some of them were pretty funny. He had some audience interaction which was priceless!! We had an amazing night and would most definitely go see another show.
"Weird Al" Yankovic was to say the least, weird.

Weird Al was ZOMGAmazing
by Robismynickname on 2015-09-15Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, i've been a fan of Weird Al since the early 90s.. but how can you bring that sort of experience to the stage? Well, he did... costumes, stage actors, lights, confetti, tinfoil hats... he had it all. 10/10 would go again.
Weird Al is a must see event
by Pharrohs on 2015-09-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5Whenever Weird Al come to town it's a must see event. Any venue he plays in the sound is always very good. The band is outstanding, they are true professionals playing perfectly and engaging in some fun on stage for a few songs. The sound level is always reasonable and never so loud your ears ring for days. The fans at the shows are welcoming and friendly and polite and many will dress up to give these shows a convention atmosphere. Costumes and stage sets improve the enjoyment of many of the well known hits and time between costume changes contain fabulous video montages that keep you entertained the entire length of the show. Al and his band and sound people always strive to put on one of the best shows they can for the fans. Even if you are not necessarily a fan you should find the show entertaining, lighthearted and fun.
Weird Al: best show ever!
by Fleathecat on 2015-09-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5My face hurt from laughing, I was thoroughly entertained for the whole 2.5 hrs. The talent in all musicians on stage is remarkable. This show symbolizes what music is really about to me: fun!
Weird Al still weirdly awesome!
by RinkLighter on 2015-09-15Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5Front row center seats were available when I went to purchase - and though I initially balked at the price - I quickly realized the seats came with a VIP pre-concert party, a bunch of loot, and a meet and greet with the Weird One himself. It was all certainly worth it. While all the new Mandatory Fun songs were covered (Tacky, Word Crimes, Foil, etc), there was somehow time for favorites from his long career - Fat, Eat It, Dare to be Stupid, Smells like Nirvana, Amish Paradise, White and Nerdy, The Saga Begins, and many more. My friend and I counted at least 14 costume changes - and what a show. So much silly fun. The night ended with meeting Weird Al, getting a photo with him and getting his autograph. Can't top that! Thanks for a great concert Al!

I would rate this show 11/10 Harvey the Wonder Hampsters. Got to meet Al after the show as part of the Czar package. He is so kind, gracious, and friendly. The whole show is non-stop entertainment. There are no 'dead spots'. The show's production values are top-notch and his band are superb. Almost forgot to mention - free tic-tacs for some members of the front row! Mind you, they're a little warm, but the taste remained unaffected.
Weird Al Rules !!!!!!!!
by Pakan1 on 2015-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Weird Al is a very talented man. He put on an awesome show. One of the best concerts I have attended and I have attended a lot of big name ones. Weird Al and his music also put across some valid points. First world problems would be a fine example. Thanks Al Yankovic !!!!!!!!
Impressed
by MsManda on 2015-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5I think Weird Al is ok but it's my boyfriend that is a fan, however I was SO Impressed. Everything was great, well put together, good sound, excellent stage presence, he can sing and entertain, costume changes were quick and entertaining. Best show/performance I have seen.
Weird Al rocked it!
by NotaCountryFan on 2015-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5From the moment he started singing and walking in from outside, it was an electric evening! He did miss performing some songs that I was looking forward to hearing (UHF and Jurassic Park to name a couple), but he did many of his other classics including Canadian Idiot. Between songs, the whole band would go change costumes, and a video would play. We got to see a few segments of Al TV! This was my first time seeing him, and I was so happy for the experience. The cluster of going from the River Cree to The Jubilee has tainted me away from the River Cree forever though.
Even my wife liked the show!
by computercowboy on 2015-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5I have been a fan of Weird Al's since I was introduced to him back with his "Dare to be Stupid" album. I have always wanted to see him live but he was never here when I was. I took my wife to the show despite her reluctance. She is usually suspect and does not always agree with my sense of humor or tastes in general. She was very impressed with him and the fact that he does not care what others think of him or how he looks. She respects that in people. He did not use any profanity at all - another good thing in her mind. She said he was very entertaining. Unfortunately she did not recognize 99% of the music as that is not her genre that she listens to. She liked the fact that I enjoyed myself and was wondering how I knew the words to almost all of the songs - she did not realize that I was such a big fan of his. He did not disappoint with costume changes basically between every song. The video screen was entertaining too while he was changing costumes. I would tell anyone to go see him. My only criticism is with the fact that the River Cree Resort and Casino was involved. The show was originally scheduled to be at the casino but due to the condemning of the venue at the River Cree, the show had to be moved to the Jubilee. The Jubilee was a great place to see him at. The ticket for the casino said 7 pm show time. The show at the Jubilee did not start until 9 pm - not known as I had selected the will call option for the tickets. I originally had front row center tickets for the River Cree. They said that I would have equivalent seats at the Jubilee. I ended up having row 11 seats - definitely not front row seats. Not even offered an apology or compensation. When Weird Al arrived into the Jubilee signing "Tacky", I would have been chest bumped by him - but noooo, I was in row 11 instead. Disappointing from that perspective.
Weird Al Still "Got it!"

Weird Al delivers the Weird and the Wonderful!
by JudgeDread on 2015-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5Can't believe the energy this guy STILL has! Have been a fan from WAY back in the day and he never disappoints. He parodies everyone, even himself, in the best and most genius ways. He's a real audience pleaser and engaged with the crowd on several occasions. From start to finish, he was non stop and we all loved it. Sorry for the show to come to an end.
