White Lies, most amazing live show ever!

by chey87 on 2014-03-22Virgin Mobile Mod Club - Toronto

This was my second time seeing them live front row both times, the other time was at the London Ont music hall and another amazing show there to! They have this unmatchable ability to contect with each and every audience throughout their shows! And they always give it their all. I love when they do these small intimate shows they are the best. I will see them everytime they come back to Canada!!! Cause we love you all so much!! Way to go guys. Each and every one of them, Jack, Charles, and Harry bring something special to the music they make and the live shows they play.

A fine show from the guys of White Lies - an excellent set including a fair mix of songs from their three albums, although I was a bit bummed they didn't play STRANGERS, but their amazing performance of FAREWELL TO THE FAIRGROUND made up for that. White Lies have an incredibly gracious, charming and personable stage presence that keeps me coming back to their shows every time they're in Toronto.

I thought only "all ages events" were done by 10pm

by lnone on 2013-10-04The Opera House - Toronto

Great sound, an interest in the audience but, who's done a concert at a bar venue at 10:15? This was not an all ages event. Sure they may have gone on at 9 but, there are 3 albums to play music from

The show was amazing, they sounded as good live as on their album. I will catch their next Toronto show for sure. I go to a lot of shows and this was one of the best this year.

    White Lies was Brilliant

by Indiegirl on 2009-09-28The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

I am glad to have had the experience of seeing this group live. Its great to see musicians enjoying the crowd and wanting to put on a great show. The vocals were incredible and the band was dead on. The dark musicians with their dark lyrics managed to light up the room. They are wise beyond their years....truly a fantastic experience. The only bad thing....no merchandise.....

Nothing like seeing a great band in a great venue. This guy can sing live and the band where tight. Sometimes reminding me of joy division and editors buy still having there own style and sound to.

    Pretty much rocked my socks

by collingwood on 2009-09-27The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Epic! Album quality / concert quality is indistinguishable. Harry McVeigh et co. rocked the show. Early start, and early end, but definitely an awesome hour.

    Amazing music and great energy!

by slinkymad on 2009-09-27The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

The band were great, the music was superb. They are all excellent musicians and Harry has an amazing voice. The whole place was bouncing which is so unlike people usually here in Toronto. Security should have been a bit more vigilant for the idiot drunk people who decided to have a fight and almost ruin the end of the gig.
