WICKED is a Tony-winning sensation that has been defying gravity and delighting Broadway audiences since 2003. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the fantastical prequel to The Wizard of Oz was nominated for 10 Tony Awards after it opened at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, and won three, including Best Actress for Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba. The musical’s first national tour opened in 2005 and ever since, WICKED’s touring production has criss-crossed North America offering theatergoers one short day in the Emerald City filled with magic, music and the ”untold true story of the Witches of Oz.” The second national tour — known as the “Munchkinland Tour” — has been an open-ended production since 2009 and now stars Olivia Valli as Elphaba and Celia Hottenstein as Glinda.

Incredible sets, lighting, makeup, costuming. Funny and heartwarming story with great singing and acting. Would whole heartedly recommend it!!
We felt like we heard two of the greatest singers on the planet! The ladies playing Elpheba and Glinda were astonishingly good! Tickets were very pricey, more than typical for a touring Broadway show...almost passed on the show because of this.
THE FIRST HALF WAS A KNOCK OUT WITH THE FUN AND PLAYING ON DIFFERENT WORDS AND SITUATIONS. THERE WAS A LOT OF ENERGY AND ACTION . THE SECOND HALF SEEMED TO LOOSE SOME OF THE SPARK AND KIBITZING OF THE FIRST HALF AND THE PACE SEEMED TO SLOW DOWN. PERHAPS THE ACTORS WERE GETTING TIRED BECAUSE THERE STAY IN EDMONTON WAS ALMOST OVER. BUT IT WAS A FUN TIME AND I ENJOYED IT.
This was the second time I've seen Wicked. It was just as good as the first time. The set is beautiful and the story is interesting and fun. Most importantly, the singing is amazing and brings tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have witnessed such wonderfully talented performers.
Excellent show - over 2-1/2 hrs long, never dragged. Fantastic singers- loved it.
Love the show!! I have seen it three times, and will continue to see it as long as it's in a close location:)
I had fun at this event, Glinda was sooo funny!! The whole show was funny, charming and a pleasure to attend.
The story was good, the set was good, the voices were awesome and the players were very entertaining. Maybe just quite not my type of show though.
After all the rave reviews from people we know it was a must to see. The play and players were excellent, except, the sound left much to be desired. Cast as a whole exceptionally loud and unintelligible for the most part. Solo did not have this same problem. Staging was great though.
Enjoyed everything about this show! I would love to see it again and again!!
One of the best productions I have ever attended, better than most I have seen on Broadway.
Great show very entertaining would recommend it to anyone of all ages
amazing production...loved everything about it and would see it again!
Yes, I would recommend this event to many of my friends. My children and I very much enjoyed it. My 7 yr old son was on the edge of his seat. He loved it.
Excellent show I would recommend this performance to friends.
So enjoyed Wicked it's an amazing performance and a fantastic thing to see on a date night !!
Excellent show. Just as good as the last time it came to town.
My friends and I really enjoyed the show. We did not know exactly what the storyline was until we saw it. Thoroughly recommend going to see it.
Excellent show. I was up on the first balcony this time (last time was down near the stage) and I think this afforded me a better overall view of the stage. Voices were very good. Actors were incredible.
I found this to be a very interesting and fast paced story that is suitable for all ages.
