    Costly

by SoSo on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

Admission cost is reasonable; however, food and merchandise seemed over-priced especially given the number of kids that attended. The question then becomes, is this event meant to lure fans to a market place or is it a celebration of the game and the team? The answer to the question should be clear to everyone beforehand but I don't think it is.

    Absolutely awesome experience!

by JIS Mom on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

We have attended this event since it's started 3 years ago and we absolutely love it. It gets better every year! I will be a family tradition now that we will carry for years to come. Very reasonably priced so, for a family of 5, very affordable. It is hard to attend sports events now with the entire family as tickets are so expensive so events like this that showcase all the ins and outs of the sport we love, are a great experience to share with the kids. So much to do, so many activities and so many ways to experience the Blue Jays! We are grateful that the Blue Jays organization decided to open the doors to their fans this way and we hope that they keep it going for years to come.

    Exceptionally well run event

    by N. A. on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

Hats off to the blue jays for putting on such a great event. Very reasonably priced (except food and booze as expected). Lineups moved very quickly. Coat check was a nice touch, as were the schedule magnets and touque.

    TBJ WINTERFEST 2020

by Mr. AWESOME on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

Once again, the Toronto Blue Jays out did themselves again. Winterfest was amazing, gets better every year. Only complaint is that the 500 level should have been open, to reduce the traffic congestion in the outfield part of the 100 level.

    Simply Outstanding!

by Randy on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

The Blue Jays Winterfest was simply an outstanding effort by the Blue Jays to connect with the baseball community or fans of the baseball community. I attended with my four grandchildren and children and had the time of our lives on the field, in the stands, in the dug-out, over the wall and participating in all the games and activities that were on the floor. As regulars at spring training this event motivated us to buy tickets for the Blue Jays and let's get going for 2020.

    Not enough gates open

by Kristin on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

The entire day is great, however the fact that there are only a few gates open is ridiculous.. most people are in line with young children, and the past 2 years have been crazy storms.... waiting outside for 45mins takes away from enjoying the entire day, especially when the doors open at 10( it takes 45 mins to get in) and the day only goes until 5.

    Blue jays winterfest

    by s.Steve on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

Great event. Lots of fun. Very inexpensive and great to be close to all the players of past present and future. Just wish ticketmaster.ca would make the tickets transferable in the future. Big pain as we bought for the whole family to go (24) between my wife and I and my son. But had to go meet all the family members at the gates as they arrived. Would have been much easier to just transfer the tickets to them

Wow! Winter Fest was sensational. So many games, autograph sessions, fun activities, delicious food options, an amazing vibe, revealing the excellent new uniform and THE AWESOME TOQUE giveaway. Remarkable. Congratulations to the entire organization. Fantastic.

    Winterfest was fun!

by Mary on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

I'm a senior and have been a fan since the beginning, so I was very happy to have a chance to go and see some of the players. Apparently 20,000 tickets were sold, but upon arrival there were only 2 gates open. We waited in line for 45 minutes. There were two free coat checks with lines and lines. I just found there was not enough staff available. It was great to see the introduction of the new uniforms (retro powder blue) and to see Buck Martinez and Hazel Mae on stage. I very much enjoyed myself, going through the locker room, seeing Charlie's office...….and seeing some of the players. There were a lot of great activities for kids.

    Great

by Sean on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

The event was better than 2019. More access to the players which I feel is the biggest draw for the average fan. Lots of free giveaways and fun activities for the kids.

Not bad but its become too child-centric for adults to enjoy

    by A-Bod on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

I've been going to Blue Jays Winter Fest each of the 3 years its happened. I am a 30 year old life-long baseball fan. In 2018, the novelty of Winter Fest was exciting for a Blue Jays fan who never experienced something like it. In 2019, dividing it up into a two-day event allowed for less congestion and shorter line-ups which allowed us to engage in more activities throughout the day (ping-pong with Blue Jays players, batting tunnels, clubhouse tour). In 2020, there wasn't much novelty in the experience anymore and too many of the activities were geared towards children. I get that Winter Fest is a family friendly event but this year's activities felt heavily skewed towards children. It felt like we were attending a circus/carnival more than a baseball event. My brother and I, both in our early 30s, got bored after a few hours and ended repeating activities which we did in past years such as the self-guided clubhouse tour for the sake of doing something. It had become a yearly tradition for us but unless there are changes to the program/activities, I think next year we'll either pass or look to visit another team's version Winter Fest instead. Thank you for allowing the fans to provide detailed feedback! Side note: the cost for slice of food/snack/beverages at concessions is outrageous which makes coming back a deterrent (although it is consistent with prices during games).

    Wait-Fest

by JR on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

As a father with two young kids, just too many lines and waiting to do activities. Simply too many people in attendance. Couldn't possibly do everything you want to in one day. Moving forward, the number of tickets sold needs to be lowered in order to make this day worth the trouble.

    Jays Winterfest

by Grandma on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

All the activities are amazing! Good for all ages. Only suggestion - more than 2 entrances would eliminate the long outdoor lines, especially in the cold temperatures and snowy weather. Crowding in the afternoon but I don’t know what you can do. The event is becoming more popular each year. Mary Atkinson

    2020 winterfest

    by L.W. on 2020-01-21Rogers Centre - Toronto

I had a great time. It was better than ever. Went with my daughter. Lots to see and do! Although this year the accessibility was not so good. You couldn’t go right round the stadium to get to where you needed to go. For example autograph signing. Because of the path being blocked and games and lineups. The traffic did not flow well at all. I felt bad for ppl with strollers and ppl in wheel chairs. Also signage was not great for example to tell you where your lineup was or where to go wait! Was confusing at times. So traffic flow and being able to find where to go ...I give it 2/5. Everything else was great the stage always had something interesting and the free stuff like the dug out self tour was great. And it moved fast and was fun to see. I give the event 4/5. As for next year I will be there. So see you next year in
