I've been going to Blue Jays Winter Fest each of the 3 years its happened. I am a 30 year old life-long baseball fan. In 2018, the novelty of Winter Fest was exciting for a Blue Jays fan who never experienced something like it. In 2019, dividing it up into a two-day event allowed for less congestion and shorter line-ups which allowed us to engage in more activities throughout the day (ping-pong with Blue Jays players, batting tunnels, clubhouse tour). In 2020, there wasn't much novelty in the experience anymore and too many of the activities were geared towards children. I get that Winter Fest is a family friendly event but this year's activities felt heavily skewed towards children. It felt like we were attending a circus/carnival more than a baseball event. My brother and I, both in our early 30s, got bored after a few hours and ended repeating activities which we did in past years such as the self-guided clubhouse tour for the sake of doing something. It had become a yearly tradition for us but unless there are changes to the program/activities, I think next year we'll either pass or look to visit another team's version Winter Fest instead.
Thank you for allowing the fans to provide detailed feedback!
Side note: the cost for slice of food/snack/beverages at concessions is outrageous which makes coming back a deterrent (although it is consistent with prices during games).
