Wonderful event with lots of activities for kids and Blue Jays superfans. However, we were in line to gain entrance to the Rogers Centre for over 30 minutes in a blizzard. The facility only had two gates open for entry to the event. They should consider opening more gates next year to help ease crowds, especially with the Canadian winter weather.
I love coming to Winterfest! Every year we plan to do the next year differently but then every year the way to buy tickets has changed. I bought autograph sessions for the first time and I am disappointed in the whole process. I got tickets for Saturday and tickets for Sunday as well and 2 of the 3 sessions were the same. I know it is a random lottery as to which session you get but if someone gets more than one autograph session there should be some way to make sure that they get into different sessions. I love all the games that are there but this year there was too many games at 135 section and with the amount of people playing them the concourse was bottle necked and it was difficult to get through especially with a wheel chair. I loved going to the TD season ticket lounge and everything in there was amazing but again to only get there from an elevator made it difficult when there was so many people using the elevators.
i had fun and met the players i wanted to meet and i probably go back next year again.
Parents with strollers scrambling through the gates ,complete madness trying to get in ,put more staff on the gates there are surely enough of them hanging round inside the stadium ,
This was our first year attending the event, we loved it. I wish it was a little more friendly from the beginning, maybe have better event staff directing people around (ie: to coat check, etc.) over all, it was amazing, next year we will be back and spend more time there
Fantastic venue at such a great price. Something to do and see for every age. Will definitely do it again next year!
What an awesome time!!! My son had the time of his life and got to meet some of his favourite players and he was able to share with Ace!!! Well done! This is our third year going and it takes away the January blues! Part of our winter tradition
We stood outside waiting to get in for almost 45 minutes (It opened at 10:00 and we arrived at 10:10). There were too many people and the lines were WAY longer than last year for everything. They should maybe sell less tickets per day or have a timed entrance so if you want to go early, there won't be as many people. We enjoyed it so much last year, that's why we went again. We are not sure if we will attend next year.
Wanna ask good as last year! No free giveaways just winter hat. Signing autographs session always gets taken never get an opportunity to attend it. Won’t go next year if it was like this year. Same players every year.
