The show was absolutely wonderful and entertaining. My daughter just loved it and we really loved Toto too!
My 6-yr old niece and I loved the play. All characters were portrayed wonderfully - the Lion was my favorite!
the play itself was very well done. the effects were great and the singing was excellent. I loved that they stayed true to the characters and even added the out take music (jitter bug)
The cast was magnificent! Dorthy was perfect, Lion was hilarious, and Toto stole the show!
My granddaughter and I attended this event and were very pleased with the show. It was very entertaining and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
My daughter and I SO enjoyed this!! performance - Wizard fo Oz has been her favourite since she was little and it was a joy to see the live play with her
It was a great play for a family to attend as well as couples and singles. It turned out that we knew one of the Munchkins in the play. Knowing an individual in a play always makes it so much more enjoyable as well as highlights local talent! I found the lion to be very comical which was great!
We give this preformance a 10+. The special effects and the characters were fabulous. My daughter loved that Toto was a real dog. The actor who played the lion was my favorite.
We really enjoyed the performance. The characters were portrayed perfectly. The backdrops were great. It was great to see some of the local talent as part of it too.
The Wizard of Oz was everything we remember about the show - from the manerisms of the characters right down to the voices - it was wonderful. We so enjoyed all the music, singing, dancing and playing that went on. Each character was uniquely wonderful in their own way and we especially enjoyed the Lion and the Wicked Witch. Toto also stole the show - he was so cute and on cue! My granddaughter was still singing the next morning on the way to school, "Ding, dong, The Witch is Dead..." She did not like the witch and she let us all know that - it was as much fun to watch her as much as the show itself. She is 5. We had a great time and would recommend it to all ages - 5 and up.
This play was good but not one that I feel like I would have been sorry if I hadn't seen. It is a little on the juvenile side (not to be confused with amateur) and would be great to take children to. I did enjoy some of the special effects including the smoke when the wicked witch would appear or disappear, Toto being a real dog and some of the harness/suspension effects.
I enjoyed Dorothy's beautiful voice and I found the Lion especially entertaining. I liked the humour throughout the play. There was some really neat scenes with dancers. My daughter was a munchkin in the play and this was a wonderful opportunity for her.
the show was amazing with great acting, dancing and a live dog that did Toto proud. We took our 5 year old grand-daughter, Scarlett, and she was laughing and clapping all night, even though the wicked witch scared her a bit. Costumes and make-up were great, the singing fabulous. Totally enjoyed.
I took my 9 year old grandson to see the show. He loved it. Especially the special effects and he thought "Dorothy" sang as well as in the original movie. Very talented acting. Liked the cowardly lion as well. The music, set, costumes were all wonderful. It seemed like they covered the full story line. My grandson wants to watch the movie again this weekend. Hope to take my younger grandson some day.
I was excited to suprise my teenage daughter with tickets to Wizard of Oz..It was to be a special nite, like so many others we have shared at musicals, concerts etc. Wow..we left at the intermission.. They took a classic and made a farce of it.. we were in row 9, and saw every person who were"hiding" behind props.. None of the actors seemed enthusiastic about their parts except for the lion.. They changed story lines, and added insane comments ( ie..lion king reference) Wow for the Concert hall, we expect a class act..not some farce and unproffesional show..especially for the amount of tickert prices. I have seen better high school plays..Will make me think twice before ever buying tickets again.
Great performance, took my 4 yr old daughter who absolutely enjoyed it. Well worth the price of tickets(very reasonable).Great cast, fabulous costumes and fun for everyone...... Only suggestion would be a matinee as alot of little ones were snoozing before the end of the show....
Fantastic! Great acting, singing and great humor through out
What an amazing musical. Congradulations to the cast and crew a truly amazing experience. Thank you!
