I saw this show many years ago in Montreal where there were double the amount of horses & much more magnificence. Don't get me wrong, the horses are breathtaking but the show was far too repetitive. The Agrodome was also very tacky looking. I would not go there again but I might try another venue,
the show was amazing and fun and spectacular. I thouroughly enjoyed it.
The Stallions were like watching royalty in motion. The show was captivating for myself and my 10yr old daughter who was amazed at what power and grace was presented during the show. Will definitely see them again and recommend them for all my friends. A sure way to entice the young audience to dream of becoming a stallion rider!
Thoroughly enjoyed the show and hearing about the history of the Lipizzaner.
The Lipizzaner show at the Agridome in Vancouver is excellent value for money: you're close to the action, the atmosphere's great - and you're allowed to take photos. A must for anyone who enjoys equestian sports.
Much too long for the kids to sit still... You would see the same thing done several different ways, several times. Not quite what I thought. I figured there would be more jaw dropping moves and more entertainment value. Not bad but definitely not worth the expensive ticket price.
I took my dad to see them for his 75th birthday...He's an old cowboy who's seen many horses in his day, but not these. We absolutely loved it! The classic music and the way these horses keep perfect time and perform and react to the audience's applause will blow you away. All ages will enjoy the timeless dressage tradition and it really transports you to a different world of eras past.
The horses are beautiful and you can really tell that a lot of training and hours went into their work.
Thought the show was fairly good, but not exciting or wowing. My favorite part of the show was the Spanish horse because it was fast and exciting. The rest of the show was pretty slow and felt stretched out to make it longer, but it made it mildly boring. Content of the show wasn't enough to warrant an intermission, too much repetition to make show longer.
I was dissapointed with the number of horses that were on the floor; I was expecting a much more lavish performance. I did enjoy the educational part of the show explaining the history of the horses and the basics of dressage.
