About

Wu-Tang Clan are a hip-hop collective originally formed in Staten Island, New York in 1992. The groundbreaking East Coast rap group have recorded seven studio albums and more than 100 solo releases between its members, RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB). Under the production of RZA, Wu-Tang Clan blended funk and soul samples with martial arts aesthetics on their 1993 debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and its Billboard Hot 100-charting singles β€œC.R.E.A.M.” and β€œMethod Man.” The group’s 1997 follow-up Wu-Tang Forever debuted atop the Billboard 200, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album and later netted a quadruple-platinum RIAA certification along with its platinum single β€œTriumph.” The W arrived in 2000, followed by Iron Flag in 2001, 8 Diagrams in 2007 and A Better Tomorrow in 2014. Wu-Tang Clan released their single-copy, seventh album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin in 2015, when it became the most expensive piece of music ever sold for $2 million. In 2024, the group hosted the first residency for a hip-hop group in Las Vegas, then reunited for the 2025 collaborative project Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman with producer Mathematics.Β

Just like the title says, Wu Tang fans are the best! I bought the BF tickets and he wanted me to join him so I went. We wore matching t shirts. Once we got off the bus we had strangers saying have fun at the concert and they wish they were going. we got to union station and we had fans talking to us and 1 guy took pictures with us saying he wanted to take pics with fans wearing t shirts. Ive been to so many concerts and never such a welcoming and friendly group of people.

Went to the Wu-Tang clan concert in Toronto. Started listening to the Wu when I was in high school and I'm in my forties. Overall it was a good experience. All the members of Wu Tang and ODB's son were in top form. They played all the classics you could ask for. Trip down memory lane. Only complaint is the vocals were so loud that it was drowning out the music track at times. The opening act run the jewels didn't have this problem and tracks and vocals meshed perfectly. Also Scotiabank arena is under construction making it more challenging for food choices depending on where you were sitting. Large areas of food and drink vendors were closed meaning you had to walk far to get something. Other than that it was definitely an awesome concert and hopefully Wu-Tang doesn't decide to hang it up just yet.
