The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

I had a great time! The show was fantastic and my view from my seats was amazing
Great show - great atmosphere. More proof that international wrestling audiences put American audiences to shame!!!
Great night!!! Everyone was cheering and having fun!!! WWE needs to come more often to Montreal, cause we showed that we are true wrestling fans!!!
The view was great. 322 AA. No one in front of you. You can even put your feet up. WWE Smackdown was great. The crowed was great. Next time I will get the seats next to the stairs because my son went to the toilet many times. I would've love for them to have merchandise selling points on the upper level. We had to go all the way back down for the merch.
Had a great time at the WWE Smackdow. WWE always put on a great show. However, why does Ticketmaster raise prices like that. It’s becoming unaffordable to get great seats. I know it’s resale, and want to make money off of scalpers but it’s getting ridiculously high for shows.
My son's favorite wrestler Sammi won two matches in one night, it was incredible. I'm so thankful for WWE, my son said it was best day of his life!
My son and I loved every minute of the experience!
Show was really good. Kids loved every minute. Started right on time and the wrestling was really well done.
The experience could not have gotten any better. The staff arranged parking flawlessly, getting to seat was super smooth and effective at the merch booths. First time there in almost 20 years and have zeronbad things to say. Show was very fun amd sent the crowd happy.
The show by itself is great. The only thing is the price of the tickets in Montreal that is just insane and the very few merch concessions once your inside.

Elimination Chamber was an awesome experience for both my husband and son great memories and fun had by all !!!
I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend WWE Elimination Chamber at Rogers Centre, and it was an experience I’ll never forget! From the moment I stepped into the arena, the energy was absolutely electric. The crowd was hyped, the production was top-tier, and every match delivered pure excitement. The Elimination Chamber match itself was an absolute spectacle. Seeing the massive steel structure in person, hearing the impact of every slam, and witnessing the intense rivalries unfold live was surreal. The atmosphere inside Rogers Centre made it even more special—fans were on their feet the entire night, cheering, booing, and reacting to every shocking moment. One of the highlights for me was John Cena turned Heel, the night was packed with moments that had the entire arena buzzing. Overall, WWE put on an amazing show, and Rogers Centre was the perfect venue to host such a massive event. The crowd energy, the action, and the overall experience made it one of the best live events I’ve ever attended. If WWE ever brings another premium live event to Toronto, I’ll definitely be there!
The Elimination Chamber is the greatest event I ever saw live. It was the absolute best.
From start to finish, I enjoyed it a lot. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
