The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

It was a very good experience can wait for them to come back. Btw can we have Smackdown to come. I love the Raw cast but I would really like smackdown.
it was awesome even know we had to sit almost behind the big stage but it was in toronto for edges last wwe match and it was awesome the fireworks were loud so definitly bring some headphones so you dont go deaf
WWE never disappoints. It was a great show all around. Took my friend, his 1st time, now he’s hooked. Sold out. Crowd was hot. Hope to get an even bigger WWE show in Vancouver soon! 👏🏾👏🏾
Fantastic show. Loved it. Really hoping Vancouver gets a WWE PPV show one of these days.
Very well presented. Highlights included Kevin Owens KO of Logan Paul, Iyo Skye’s extreme acrobatics and, especially, the 3-man battle between Orton, Styles and LA Knight, rudely interrupted by Roman Reigns & Co.’s unsolicited beat down.
First live WWE event and I loved being a part of the WWE Universe. Amazing night!!
I had a great time. good matches. liked the 3 main event matches after WWE Smackdown.
Worth every cent. Seeing a WWE event live is probably one of the most exhilarating things you could experience if you’re a wrestling fan.
Had a blast. Thank you WWE for a great show. Can’t wait until it comes to Vancouver again.
Show up early if you want merchandise. Lines are long but move quickly. Make sure to check different merchandise stands as they carry different items. Staff for show is efficient and polite. Floor seating is a little tight but worth it to be close to the action. Performers were great and delivered a great show. Not sure who plans the closing speech but they did a really good job sending us home happy and were very thankful for the attending crowd. Class act. Five Stars. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you WWE.
Show was great but people who paid to sit on the floor and in row 1 ahead of me kept standing, therefore I and my son could not see. A few security people made a couple attempts to ask them to sit but honestly, for the price of the seats … shouldn’t have to stand to get any view. Disappointed to have to get up and down to watch a show. Security should be insisting people sit on their butts and consider others behind them. I’ll be buying cheaper seats next time where those who stand will not determine the quality of my evening and obstruct the show as I’ll be higher up in the stands. Who’d have thought cheaper seats give a better view?!?!
Show was good, crowd was great. Being the lower bowl in the front row wasn’t an ideal spot. You were either blocked by the floor seats crowd or couldn’t see anything when the wrestlers were fighting out of the ring. Would go back, but might go a little further back.
Had front row for this event Unreal experience Cant wait for another experience like this one
It was a great event. The spectators are as engaging as Toronto and Montreal crowd. Not a dull moment! I hope RAW will come and visit us in Vancouver. Ticketmaster is very reliable. I sold my first tickets then bought a more expensive ones to be closer to the stage.
This was easily the greatest live show or event that I have ever been to! The crowd was electric, the pyrotechnics and the athleticism was insane. My wife and I are really hoping the WWE shows interest in more Vancouver dates in the future!
It was my first ever live WWE experience and it was just amaIng. I wish they have it more frequent in Vancouver.
Was a great show definitely an experience I'll remember for ever
Took my 9 year old daughter to WWE SmackDown for a Christmas gift. Visuals and pyrotechnics were amazing. Seats and section were perfect. From where we sat we can see the wrestlers faces and jacked muscles. Daughter said it was her best day in her life, we need more WWE to come to Vancouver.
The show was very good and the action was great. Our seats were not the greatest but thats ok we still got a good view of the show.
Better than expected, can’t wait for it to come back, kids enjoyed it too
