The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

First ever WWE event and it was so much fun. Very entertaining! Loved every second of it.
Amazing event with full of surprises and exciting moments. It was a bit loud though.
The venue organisation was good in regards to finding seats. Would have been better if we could hear the wrestlers and commentators.
best experience of my life, john cena finally turned heel!!!!
The best Experience i’ve ever had, Legendary elimination chamber
The experience itself was great - but I felt scammed for the 800 CAD tickets I purchased. I was on the wings near the floor, second row, and left after the first match to go stand elsewhere. The staff, signs, and endless walking meant I couldn’t see 90% of the event. The staff weren’t keen on moving out of my way either, which was not acceptable. Thankfully, I moved to a standing area and enjoyed the rest of the show there. Best decision made, but certainly disappointing given the price I paid.
Attending Elimination Chamber was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Everything about the event was a perfect 10/10— from the high-energy crowd to WWE’s top-tier production. The atmosphere inside the arena was electric, with every match delivering excitement and unpredictability.
It was a lot of fun we definitely had a great time. I’m more use to seeing big events in a private box so being seated in gen pop was a vibe!!!! I had no idea a tall can would be $25. lol. So much better when everything is comped. It’s sad that these events are so out of reach for most. We had great seats in the 100s, but still better to watch it in TV. I’m disappointed Jay Uso didn’t show up!!! YEET.
It was my first live WWE show and I just loved it. The feeling, the atmosphere is out of the world. It was a childhood dream come true.
The seats were hard to find but there were the best ones I ever got till smackdown. Definitely going to another WWE event at Roger’s arena!.
10/10 event. Cena heel. Nothing more needs to be said.
It was one of the best experience of my life! Dream came true to see John Cena and The Rock! Omg! I loved everything about it! It was all very well organized.
My first ever WWE experience was simply amazing, loved each and every part of the show. Except for the part where they mentioned that we cannot take any small bags inside, this should be communicated on the ticket guidelines. Or it should be allowed after the checking at the entrance.
Absolutely mindblowing event. This was my third and biggest WWE event and they just keep getting better
Smackdown and elimination chamber were both amazing. Great stories and great performances from everyone. This is my 3rd trip for wwe events and they are only getting better! Thank you Paul!
Enjoyed it through out the whole show, food snacks and drinks as well
Was our 1st event, totally exceeded our expectations, totally awesome 👍👍
Absolutely incredible. Can’t wait for WWE to come back to Toronto.
It’s incredible I love it this was my first appearance and it’s fabulous
Great event start to finish. Rogers centre staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for the next WWE event
