It was a great day! We took our daughter for her first game and now she’s hooked! Even though our boys lost, we still had a great time together as a family!
Needs A Bigger Restroom / washroom venue Kinda Small
It was an excellent game and experience for the first time. They WON!! I learned a couple things that day. Sitting in row A is not the best. Next time I'll make sure I'm up higher. Snacks, bathroom and 50/50 was a disaster only 2 small vending areas. I understand the space is small but popcorn and chips can be sold out of crates off to the side. I say they need more options. Bathroom is a major wait and long line. Just have to use the bathroom during the game and not on intermission. 50/50 ticket line is as long as snacks. Purchase tickets during the game and not on intermission. If there was more people selling tickets and snacks they would make a lot more money. Especially the 50/50 people don't want to wait at all so the opt out of purchasing them. More options throughout will be less waiting for those attending.
Great first experience. We had standing seats and could see all areas around rink! Will be going again soon!
Relaxed, great game, reasonable priced snacks! Will definitely be going again!
I took my granddaughter to the hockey game on Saturday at 4 o’clock. Very fast hockey very entertaining. Definitely going to do this again with some of my other grandkids.
Everything was excellent except for the seats the crowd sits in for the event. The seats at the Brantford Civic Center have to be the smallest seats of any venue I have gone to. That includes sporting events and all other places including but not limited to movie theaters.
As a wheelchair user, access couldn't have been easier getting around.
A whole lot of fun! Tickets aren’t expensive so the whole family can come out and cheer the Bulldogs on. The venue… whew, lots of stairs and the seats are very close together. Doesn’t really matter though because it truly is a great outing
I attended the Bulldogs Remembrance Day match against the Sudbury Wolves, and hate to admit I was entertained. As a teen 45 years ago I attended Kitchener Ranger games, when Paul Coffey would rush end to end, and can confidently report the skill level of these teens is as I remember. Although Brantford triumphed 4-0, every kid made the most of every minute on the ice, playing as if every shift was their last. It wasn't hard either to get caught up in the cliche crowd accompaniment, the hooting, hollering, barking and banter - Brantford fans are passionate. As well the pre and post game logistics are something to behold - traffic jams on Market Street with police controlling the crowds - more activity I've seen at the Civic Centre in my 35 years in the City. Lets hope we can maintain a sustained interest in the team and keep them in town.
What a great job you did in the improvements to this arena and atmosphere you have created for OHL hockey. We have been at this arena last year for Junior B. Games Only disappointment there was no elevator and railings to walk down in aisle to your seat for my wife with her mobility issues for walking. It was struggle as she needs a cane to walk but she did make up all those stairs and into her seat.
Bull Dogs were great to watch..seeing people back in the arena again was awesome…atmosphere was electrifying..affordable and great to see families together watching and just not the adults cause they can’t afford to take the kids…let’s keep the Bull Dogs here if not at least keep an OHL team here
Great seats !!! Great venue !!! Little pricey!! Not sure what that insurance is as I didn't want it
The Bulldogs have settled into their new home in Brantford. The arena is a little tight, but there's not a bad seat in the house and there's a lot of spirit!
no shop to buy gear. lynden park mall has plenty of empty stores bulldogs could set up in. on the plus side game time starts are great. maybe work a deal with 𝔹ℝ𝔸ℕ𝕋𝔽𝕆ℝ𝔻 transit if you show a game ticket you get a free ride to and from game.
Didn’t get to go because of the snow and commuting:(
Hi there I took my little brothers to the game it was the worst experience ever I’ve been going to bulldogs games since I was a kid my self and never had a experience like this one I’ll start with the small stuff first I bought my brother a slushy he dropped his straw I then was told I was simply not allowed to get another one that I would have to buy a another one my one brother is 5 the other 9 and autistic second the bathrooms by section 120 destroyed toilet paper everywhere pee all over the place then we’ll we were sitting in our seats the guy behind us poured beer on me because he was going for the other team so then we went to try and get moved but we were not allowed the guy was allowed to stay so me and my brothers ended up leaving with the 5 year old crying it’s not right I don’t think I’ll be back
The game itself was fun and very enjoyable. The problem lays in the mediocre staff that that had no idea where family washrooms where located and sent me on a wild goose chase when I needed to change my 2 year old's dipper. The big reason why I will never be returning to a bulldogs game in Hamilton is because when exiting the arena there was a man with his pants down pooping on the First Ontario Center and obviously high on drugs. Not to mention the group of other addicts and homeless person's gathered around the building. Zero Police presence in this city and I very much look forward to the move to Brantford where I will attend more games for sure. Avoid Hamilton at all costs Dump City.
We usually go to a Bulldogs game every Family Day, and it never disappoints! Always a great time with the family!
