Winnipeg Folk Festival Tickets

The best 5 days of the year, yet again. Thank you!!

Thursday night was by far my most favorite night though all nights were great!,,, unfortunately getting there Wednesday night was a disappointment!!! We had to wait in line from 730 until 850!, something needs to be done about that I purchased my tickets in advane to avoid line up delays not so....overall loved it people were great music was great and we are in for next year

Thank you for letting me have a voice. I hope if I am not the only one with this complaint that you listen and make changes. I have been going to the folk fest over the last 10 years and have loved it until last year. The new beer tent and big blue tent in the evenings is just a drunk and it's not right that the more lively entertainment is there. The main evening music was ok but not lively enough for Friday and Saturday night music. It was slow and boring. We would go back and forth to each tent not knowing which would be the best. The big blue would win for their last performances. I would take the time to lay a tarp at the main stage (as in other years) in hopes of a rocking good time (like previous years) and found it to have been a waste of time because of the slower paced music. I could of slept through it. We walk around in the heat all day.......it is just not right that we have to walk all over at night to figure out where the action is. I also bragged about in the past how folk fest was a fun, party atmosphere but controlled. I never saw anyone falling over drunk or falling into me or others before or throwing up in the field when there was just one beer tent. This year I saw all this and more just being at the beer tent by the big blue tent. I would like to see that area closed and only have one stage with all the rockin performers on the main stage. I am in my late 20's and married and I am not a prude but from the last 2 years experience I can see the fest start to fail. I am not the only one who thought this and I hope they share their story with you so you can look at the way things are going. I am from the Maritimes and every festival there is a drunk. It was so nice to find this festival and to see so many people control them selves and just want to have a good time. I know the kids whoop it up in the festival camping but I have never seen it so sloppy as this year. Some changes are good but this change is not good. I would like to see it go back to the old way. The day performers were good as usual and that was a gods send.

Once again, a very well organized event. The intricate scheduling allows one to see many performers, and by keeping similar acts on the same stages, one knows what to expect each year. We enjoy the small stage performances the most.

Folk fest as always was great! From my 3 year old to my 67 yr old mother, all enjoyed! My mom has been going for the last 25 years and enjoys it tremendously. We are really excited about next year ...which acts will see? Can't wait! A big thanks to all the vollunteers who make this possible, also to all the performers that travel from near and far!

It was quite noticeable that attendance was down and could that be because there were no big name entertainers??? I'm really happy to hear of the new developments planned for the site. They have been doing a great job in making this a primo venue. Considering I'm a diehard….I would love it no matter what !!

I loved the concentration of bluegrass, old timey music at this year's festival. The weather was perfect.

I get more excited about The Winnipeg Folk Fest than I do about Christmas. Absolutely love it. This year's was my fave in the four years my wife and I have been going. Elliot Brood is the best band in Canada.

Best music event of the year. If you want a week of music and awesome camping, this is the event for you

Nothing but the best memories are ever made here - and sometimes forgotten

This event should serve as a guideline for all of society to witness how people can be responsible and caring (absolutely not a drop of litter anywhere, washrooms clean, people sharing and being nice and accepting to each other. Really uplifting!

First time ever...loved the exeperience! Great way to enjoy the outdoors and fantastic artists! Perfect for every age!!!

So. Much. Fun. This year is the first that I've been to Folk Fest - now I realize what I've been missing out on all these years! I loved seeing the different bands - what a tremendous variety of entertainment from folk to hip hop to country to world music and everything in between! Folk Fest was so easily accessible with the free bus transportation that runs every 30 minutes to and from the venue. Everything was a great experience from picking up my ticket at the gate, to enjoying some fabulous Folk Fest food, and meeting up with friends who made the experience that much more fun and memorable. Will definitely be back next year!!

As usual, folk fest was excellent. Something for everyone.

The venue and amenities at Birds Hill Park were improved since last year. So many places to eat, a number of incredible bands, sound quality was incredible and the people were amazing to watch. I wish the world would run like this folkfest runs!

I like the variety of performers. The daytime stages are my favorite because I can chose the music I most want to hear, and I like being close to the stage. The scheduling is well done.
