About

Tegan and Sara first established themselves as indie rock royalty in the mid-2000s. The Canadian duo released the critically-acclaimed albums So Jealous (2004) and The Con (2007), before evolving to more of a pop sound on 2013’s Heartthrob, which was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) and features the synth-pop hit “Closer.” Since their 1999 debut album Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara have sold over a million albums worldwide, and have played to sold-out arenas with artists like The Killers and Katy Perry. The twin sisters are also longtime activists, and are dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls through the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which they established in 2016. Their 2019 memoir High School was a New York Times best-seller, and was adapted into a television series of the same name. They released their 10th studio album Crybaby in 2022.

    Disappointing

    by Confused on 2023-08-03

We left before it ended. Opening act sucked the air out of the room. Felt like it was booked for the wrong crowd; like booking missy Elliott to open for the wiggles. Tegan and Sara sounded good but show was underwhelming.

Everything i hoped it would be

by Britty101 on 2023-06-18The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Great set list, and they soubded grea. Could have done without the girl yelling behind me or the sloppy drunk girl all over her boyfriend. But i loved the show.

One of the best show of my life. The setlist was amazing. They've played 25 songs of all eras. The sound was really great. The band and the crowd was on fire.

    Simply the BEST

    by Kimber78 on 2022-11-25Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Everything about this concert was perfect. The only negative thing I can say, is it could have lasted all night. These two are so amazingly talented and sound like perfection on and off track. Their interaction with the crowd never disappoints. They are funny, beautiful, talented women!! Love them to death!!! 💜

Not up to the expected level

by Orient on 2022-11-25Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Probably T&S were tired after 6 weeks away from home, or having to play a gig at the home town (as they said it always sucks). But we were hoping for a better overall experience. Doors opened at 7pm, then another hour of waiting, then totally unknown and not-at-all-interested (probably stoned as well) singer from Florida playing her melancholic songs on a guitar.... and eventually show starting at 9pm. No additional songs after the "show time" was over, although the public was waiting and cheering... I'm quite sure the girls could have done much better.
