About

Tegan and Sara first established themselves as indie rock royalty in the mid-2000s. The Canadian duo released the critically-acclaimed albums So Jealous (2004) and The Con (2007), before evolving to more of a pop sound on 2013’s Heartthrob, which was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) and features the synth-pop hit “Closer.” Since their 1999 debut album Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara have sold over a million albums worldwide, and have played to sold-out arenas with artists like The Killers and Katy Perry. The twin sisters are also longtime activists, and are dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls through the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which they established in 2016. Their 2019 memoir High School was a New York Times best-seller, and was adapted into a television series of the same name. They released their 10th studio album Crybaby in 2022.

    Cry Baby Tour

by Stina on 2022-11-23Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The night was amazing! I got my sister and I VIP tickets. My third time going and her first, we had a blast! Played all our favourite songs. Only downside to the night was the crowd was loud when the opening band came on. I didn’t really get to hear them. But I looked them up after :)

    Great show

by Milen on 2022-11-23Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

They sounded great, the venue is one of the best venues I've ever been to and overall good show. Weird not to have an encore but Vancouver crowds just leave at the first opportunity so not really conducive to an encore. Guess I'm accustomed to Toronto where we demand more, always.

I think this was my favourite Tegan and Sara concert out of the five I’ve been to so far! They are so open with their fans, you can’t help but feel like a friend. The music was incredible and the stories were funny and heart-breaking.

    Beautiful, intimate show

by A. C. on 2019-10-13Bella Concert Hall - Mount Royal University - Calgary

The Hey, I’m Just Like You tour was like no other show I’ve been to. Tegan and Sara were at their best, with just them, their guitars and piano on stage. Unfortunately thanks to Ticketmaster and Stubhub, the show sold out almost immediately but the venue was full of empty seats. Something needs to be done about this. T&S tried to combat this problem by offering rush seating, but even that wasn’t enough.

Tegan And Sara Con X = Great Night!

by pippy5432 on 2017-11-09Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

This was a great concert. It was a sit down event which was different, but fun. They were both on point and the talking in between songs was very entertaining.

    Didn't feel welcomed

by Jesisman on 2017-11-03Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Not a big fan but my wife likes them & I love all live music especially in a venue like the Jubilee. They are fantastic musician's but I did not recognize a single tune (always better when you know the songs). What I found disappointing was how they went on & on about being gay, in this day & age so what! They went on about it soo much it made me feel like I was not supposed be there (being a heterosexual male).

    Tegan and Sara were AWESOME!!

by Tomakins2002 on 2017-11-03Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I went to see Tegan and Sara The Con X tour in Edmonton on October 31st, it was my first time seeing them playing an account show and I absolutely LOVED it!!! Tegan and Sara concert is never just a music show. It is always so much more!!! The way they sing , share their stories and talk to the audience make you feel very involved in the show. It’s a very personal experience. On one hand there’s this awesome Canadian duo that won Juno’s were nominated for Grammy , sold millions of records and yet on the other hand they can relay to everyone in the audience. I honestly can’t think of another artist that make me feel so involved ❤️

This was my third time seeing these ladies live & I can't even begin to put this experience into words. An acoustic performance by them was something that I never knew I needed but I'm so glad I got to experience. Their stage presence is breathtaking. Simple yet so elegant & beautiful. This venue is perfect for a show like this!

    Tegan and Sara were amazing!

by Amronian on 2016-11-03Massey Hall - Toronto

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. They sounded amazing, I don't usually like when bands rework songs for live shows, but this time it was perfect. I hope they come back soon!

    Ohh so glad we went

by MuskokaCasual on 2016-11-03Massey Hall - Toronto

While we weren't sure @ first, it quickly became GREAT nite once Tegan & Sara actually took to the stage. Music selection, sound and crowd interaction was well above average. Only the lead in acts left something to be desired. Neither was really to our musical taste, particularly Torres.

    Love Them To Death

by softdress on 2016-11-01Metropolis - Montreal

Exceptional show, great performance, and the production (lights/stage) has really improved! Not to mention their DANCE MOVES! They're more interactive, but still have that great banter we all know and love!

    Good sound, comedic performance.

by schau on 2016-11-01Massey Hall - Toronto

Tegan & Sara are class acts. They played a good mix of their old favorites and popular new singles. I was stoked when Tegan brought out the guitar for old times' sake and sang acoustic versions of their iconic songs off "The Con". Plus they're hilarious and adorable together - top-notch show!
