070 Shake on Tour

An enigma that is difficult to characterize and one of the most unique voices in contemporary rap, 070 Shake hit the road for a 24-stop summer tour across the United States. This tour comes off the heels of her 2020 breakthrough album Modus Vivendi (which translates to "way of life" in Latin), but also serves as the prelude for her June 2022 release, You Can't Kill Me Because I Don't Exist. 070 Shake made her first mark in 2016 with the single "Trust Nobody," which caught the attention of Def Jam and Kanye West's GOOD music label. 070 Shake was signed later that year and she's been growing both in talent and audience ever since. In 2018, Shake was thrust into the mainstream when she co-opted the hit release "Ghost Town" from West's album release Ye with an infectious and vibrant hook that captivated millions. She is also credited with features on Pusha-T's 2018 album Daytona. See 070 Shake in concert today.

070 Shake Live in Concert

Born Danielle Balbuena in North Bergen, New Jersey, Shake is of Dominican descent. She attended North Bergen High School and spent her free time on the school's girls basketball team and writing poetry. She also joined the 070 crew around that time (the 070 comes from the various Jersey zip codes the members hail from). The crew, which includes (but is not limited to) Ralphy River, Tree Safari, Phi, Malick, Razsy Beats, Ether Phoenix, and J-Sebastian released their first collaborative project in December of 2016 titled The 070 Project: Chapter 1. Shake's most popular hit is titled "Guilty Conscience" and comes from her 2020 debut album Modus Vivendi. There remix version of "Guilty Conscience" by Grammy-nominated group Tame Impala. Both versions of "Guilty Conscience" have nearly 70 million combined streams on Spotify and another 9 million plays on YouTube. Releases from Shake in 2022 include a guest feature spot on Madonna's single "Frozen" and "Lose My Cool" featuring NLE Choppa and Skin and Bones, which is also the lead single of her 2022 release You Can't Kill Me Because I Don't Exist.

New venue, sad sign of things to come?

    by Stewie970 on 2022-05-20History - Toronto

070 Shake's performance was great! Pretty much what we expected to see. The overall experience at this new History venue leaves a lot to be desired. First the high points. Great to have affordable parking next to the venue, the building is stylish, modern and exciting, perfect for these size shows. There were no line ups for washrooms or the bar. The showmanship, or "cowbell" was totally missing: There was no opening act to warm up the crowd, no host or MC came on stage to welcome us and introduce the act. There was no encore! When she stopped performing the lights came on and we kicked out, like at yuk yuks. The thing that really surprized me was the cost of drinks! $45.00 bought me 3 tall boys, tip was included but WOW! Drake, you have enough money, give us (still on the bottom) a break man!

    Banger of a concert

    by V-Nasty on 2022-05-20History - Toronto

I raged so hard that I pulled a muscle and had trouble breathing for the next few days. Totally worth it, would do again.

    Great ambiance

    by 514Gal on 2022-05-17Théâtre Corona - Montreal

It was good, the songs sounded exactly like the albums. That was nice but I do appreciate a bit more creativity during live shows. The crowd was super chill, good vibes!
