    Hysterical!!

by KBCALGARY on 2013-09-20Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

This was the funniest show I have EVER seen! Laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt! I loved all the characters, and the fact it stayed "true" to the book! The actor who plays Christian Gray was the best!!

Seats were good and the play was funny but I was expecting it to be more funny and less in your face.

"50 Shades" was a Great Parody

by HS58 on 2013-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Having read "50 Shades," I was looking forward to seeing the stage production. The songs were very good and a tribute to other great Broadway musicals. Great humour and well worth the price of admission.

    It was soooo funny!

by TheComedian on 2013-09-15Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was so funny and I had a great time laughing a loud. I wish the show was little longer because it finished so quickly. Songs and dances were amazing! Why didn't they have brochure? I would love to know about cast members.

    Not for family

by MascotMan on 2013-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Must have been 1 man for every 100 women Guess I should have expected that. It was crude, in your face and brilliantly done. Small cast, very little in the way of scenery but that didn't matter. If you are a fan of the books, this is for you, if not stay home, you will be pushed to your limits. I laughed all the way through, my wife not so much and neither of us have read the book. Even poked fun at "Phantom", Les Miz" and other big shows. I completely enjoyed it.

    Freakin' Funny!!

by Laughalot2 on 2013-09-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I was curious as to how the show would play out and was thinking I should just wait for the movie. But I read a couple reviews and thought it would be a fun "girls night out". Therefore I invited a couple friends along for the experience. Closer to time I was feeling a bit nervous because the show wasn't sold out and I haven't heard any new reviews about it. So when the girls and I met for dinner prior to the show I started to talk about how it should be fun but maybe we shouldn't have too high expectations and I heard it was just an adaptation, etc. Now that I've seen the show, let me tell you that it was completely unexpected! It has been a long time since my friends and I have laughed this hard! Tears were falling from hysterical laughter. Seriously, I just about peed my pants! It's nothing you would expect, but was so amazingly funny! The actors were wonderful! They all played their parts amazingly well and their voices in this musical were tremendous! Worth every penny! I was absolutely impressed! Bravo! They have to increase the press on this! It never received the hype it deserved!

    Entertaining 69-minute Presentation

by KaLoPo on 2013-09-11Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

Comedic, raunchy, musical parody of the stupidest book I've ever read. The very talented and diverse cast of performers added to the fun and confirmed to me that 50SOG is indeed a silly unrealistic piece of fiction.

50 Shades of Grey, the Musical

by Stonehenge59 on 2013-09-10Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

Absolutely hilarious! The choreography was sexually explicit, the language vulgar, but it was done so artfully that I fail to see how anyone could have taken it seriously and been offended. It was simply a hoot from the get go! The cast were excellent. I laughed until I thought my ribs were broken. Unfortunately I had only started Book 1 of the Trilogy before I attended the performance. Now I am giving the books away as when I tried to resume the read, all I could think of was your hero and heroine who are the diametric opposite of the characters in the book. Well worth the money!!!!!!! And may I say I am over 70, as was my friend, and neither of us could stop talking about how funny the performance was all the way home.

The show was hilarious. I went with a girlfriend and our husbands. We were a little worried about how the guys would like it. They laughed right along with us.
