    50 Shades (The Musical)

by tintrader on 2013-09-10Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

Excellent show..script was very satirical and on point. Music score and lyrics very entertaining. Characters were not what I was expecting...they were even better. I would highly recommend this show to an adult.

The Musical was hilarious! I loved every minute of it! Great job on all the writing and directing! Katherine was great! And so was the divorcé loser woman in the book club!

    50 Shades was Hysterical!!

by originalsnow on 2013-09-09Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

I have never read the 50 Shades of Grey book but I know the premise so thought a parody of the book would make for an entertaining evening out. And I was not disappointed! My only 2 criticisms would be that the show is way over priced for a cast of 12 including the band and a very minimal set. The theatre was also only half full so I think they would have done better with $55 and $45 dollar seats as opposed to the $75 I ended up paying. The sound also wasn't the greatest for this performance which is odd for a show at the Concert Hall. Other than that the cast was great! All characters were well developed and made the show funnier than anything I've seen in a while. Not sure if I will be able to read the books now as I would probably end up envisioning Christian Greys character as the guy who portrayed him in this musical!! ;) haha Thanks again for a great night out!! Cheers!

Hilarious writing! Had us crying through the show we were laughing so hard. Great parody on the book- very funny for those that understand the irony and sarcasm. Most singing was good. Anastasia's character had an amazing voice.

    Fifty Shades The Musical

by Ince on 2013-09-09Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

Absolutely fantastic! So very funny and well done. The characters were exquisitely cast. I recommend this show to everyone who loves to have a great belly laugh, with a lot of sexual innuendos and content, of course. Loved it.

    fifty shades

by dipsygypsy on 2013-09-08Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

I was disappointed right from the start, The stage was like an old warehouse. Totally uninviting. Yes the women did look like bored housewives, The squealy blond was very hard to understand. I did like Anna she played her part well and has a great voice. I found there was no WOW for the whole play. I would nor recommend this to anyone. No banf for my buck

    50 Shades was a disappointment

by Blondie54 on 2013-09-08Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

A well-rehearsed high school production is the best comment I can make about the show. It was empty of content that could have made it very funny. Not worth my money or time. Obviously someone's idea to make a quick buck off the book sales.

    50 Shades! the Musical

by Joanny on 2013-06-10710 Main Street - Buffalo

This exceeded my expectations! It was an amazing concept that worked. I was a little nervous suggsting that 4 of us travel from Toronto to Buffalo for this - but we all loved it. We would like to see them take this on the road. If they came to Toronto I would tell all my friends and colleagues.
