RICK SPRINGFIELD IN CONCERT:
Rock superstar Rick Springfield has been wooing audiences with his polished voice and leading-man looks ever since his rise to fame in the early '70s. More than four decades later, he looks and sounds as good as ever, treating fans to an unforgettable evening of solo performance and storytelling on his Stripped Down tour. Taking time between each song to relay the touching and humorous stories that inspired them, Springfield has proven that his talents as an entertainer extend well beyond his musical abilities. Whether fans catch him solo or performing with a full band, they can count on plenty of showmanship and charisma as he works his way through nostalgic hits like "Jesse's Girl" and "Don't Talk to Strangers."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Australian-born Rick Springfield began playing the guitar at age 13, cutting his teeth in several bands in England after his army officer father relocated the family there in 1958. After a stint fronting the British band Zoot in the late '60s, Springfield launched his solo career in 1971 with debut single "Speak to the Sky," a Top 10 hit in his native Australia. After releasing several moderately successful albums in the '70s, Springfield hit his stride in 1981 with Working Class Dog, a massive success propelled by the No. 1 hit "Jesse's Girl." 1982's My Success Hasn't Spoiled Yet fared similarly, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawning several more hit singles. A veteran showman with four decades of touring under his belt, Springfield returns to the road once again for a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

Rick Springfield was great !! He had great energy all concert long. He Didn’t disappoint.
This was an incredible show. Rick has (still) got charisma and energy to whip up the audience into a frenzy. He played mostly old tunes from the 80’s and sprinkled in a couple new and few more obscure songs that only die hard fans would know. Everyone was on their feet, dancing and in particular when Rick went into the crowd during Human Touch. He is a true performer and he loves his fans as much as they love him. The positive energy created is palpable. Thank you, Rick, for an amazing evening!
Rick has so much energy, he was flying and running all over the stage excellent performance excellent singer the band was amazing. He always goes into the crowd. He is not afraid of people groping him (I think he likes it )He is so personable I love it. He signed autographs and albums on stage. Getting a seat up front of his concerts is well worth it . This was by far the best show I've seen him do and I've been to quite a few love you Rick Springfield
Rick always puts on the most amazing show!!! Great singing and lots of engagement with the audience
Rick Springfield puts on an awesome concert. The Hooters were also really good and very good musicians.
Tommy Tutone took a powder. Paul Young worked hard, but his voice is shot. Classy move to dedicate a song to Robbie Robertson. The Hooters played well, but suffered from weak material. Rick Springfield was as expected. Very charismatic and charming. High energy for a 74 year old. The audience loved the show.
Rick put on a great show!! He has so much energy, so enjoyable and tremendous amount of interaction with the audience!! Been a fan since my teens and seen him so many times and he never disappoints! 🥰
I saw Rick Springfield in 1982, so it's been 42 years...and he's better than ever! So confident, and an amazing musician and performer. This is one of the best concerts I've been to in my life. Also...he signed three of my records for me. I love him. Thanks Rick!
Rick was amazing. Even after all these years has the audience in the palm of his hands!! Sounded great and loved the show.
This guy still got it - the tunes, the guitar, the ‘tude!! Rocked all the hits!!
Rick Springfield, at 74, can still get the crowd going. Good songs, lively, personal, and overall just plain great!
His performance blew me away. I had no idea what to expect and I am still in awe with what a remarkable performer he is - especially at his age (73!!!!). He is my new inspiration. Would see him again. No question!
Age is just a number and for Rick Springfield 70 is the new 30. Rick is not an aging rocker, he's an AGELESS rocker. He's an extremely fit, & highly energetic performer who interacts with the audience (on stage & in the crowd) with the vim & vigor only current bands could hope to compete with. His guitar prowess is highly underrated, as evidenced by a highly dynamic 5 minute guitar solo mid set. Jessie's Girl may be his most famous song (and closer), but his setlist is far more indicative of his repertoire & talent. This includes songs from his most daring & brilliant work yet "The Snake King". Rick Springfield is a far better a musician, guitarist, singer, and performer than he is a pop culture reference from the 80's.
I’ve seen many shows at Fallsview, I’ve enjoyed each and everyone.. Rick Springfield is definitely an artist that I would go see again..
Rick Springfield always puts on a full energy concert with audience participation. Talented singer, writer and guitarist. ❤️
Rick was wonderful as usual. Great rapport with audience and participation. Love to see him every year.
Back in the memory banks, it was such a good concert. When he came out in the crowd, which I have never encountered before, it was so much fun to see. Always on my bucket list, cross Rick off. :)
Seeing Rick and the guys again made my night and also got to see my friends having a blast ... As we say as Rick Sistas We all need that Human Touch
Fantastic venue. The theatre is so intimate and perfect for seeing your favorite performers. There is not a bad seat in the house and so comfortable. Rick did not disappoint. He sang so many favorites and showed off his incredible talent by playing his new music and well known all time hits. He adds his personality to the show and keeps it very interactive with the audience. I loved every minute.
