Such an excellent show. 35 songs from his catalog. I couldn’t have asked for more.
I thought Ryan Adams was amazing. For a solo artist that played for nearly 3 hours, was very engaging with the audience and funny. The sound was mind blowing, and his sheer talent was an absolute thrill. Honoured to be in the same arena as he.
Great show. Great performance by Ryan Adams. The venue is terrific, especially on the floor/lower level. All around a pleasure!
If you are a Ryan Adams fan this show was a once in a lifetime kind of experience. Three solid hours of intimate and acoustic Ryan at his very best, spanning the gamut of his enviable career. The sparse setting spotlights not only Ryan’s ever beautiful voice but also the genius as a musician, composer and songwriter. He is also charming, honest and funny. I run out of superlatives in reviewing this show.
Personal and reminiscing for us. Setup on stage was amazing and such A incredible musician. Played for 3 hours Worth every minute.
From purchasing tickets to parking, the experience couldn’t be better. And of course Ryan Adams put on a show of shows. He is truly the greatest singer songwriter of our generation. Nobody can sing like he does. Never miss an opportunity to be a witness to his incomparable talent!
This was such a special night. Everything stripped down to the bare bones, from lamps lighting the stage to an acoustic guitar or piano and Ryan's voice. Truly one of the great song writers of our time as was evident in his 3 hour set. So happy I was able to attend and thank you to The Danforth Music Hall for hosting the night and making it a truly intimate event.
Hadn't seen Ryan since before covid but he was definitely worth the wait. He was solo which is my preferred type of Ryan show, and played guitar interspersed with some piano for 3 hours. He sounded amazing. 36 songs total and he could have kept on going. I do have a few complaints, the seats were uncomfortable, if I sat back, I couldn't see over the wall, was first row 2nd balcony, normally a good seat in other venues but not here. Also, and this was huge for me, when he chatted with the audience, I couldnt hear him. His story telling is part of the show and I missed all of it. The sound guy needed to turn it up a bit but at least the music sounded great. 4 stars because of these issues. Looking forward to the next show. He'll probably release another 5 albums by then lol. Definitely recommend seeing him.
Great concert. Great set. Venue was good. Seats a little small but awesome night
First time seeing Ryan in an acoustic set. 35 wonderful songs. Voice is better than when was younger; probably quit smoking. Was very enthusiastic and very funny to boot. Loved his originals, loved his covers too (Cowboy Junkies, Neil Young Hank Williams, Somewhere over The Rainbow). Does not get the credit he deserves for being a great song writer. 3 hours of pure enjoyment.
