I took my mom to the Tommy Hunter show thinking she would enjoy it but surprise we both loved it. It brought back great memories of watching the Tommy Hunter television show with my parents. The music was great and Tommy Hunter is quite an entertainer.
It will be ashamed to see Tommy Hunter retire. We have been blessed with his talent for many years.
STILL A GREAT ENTERAINER, LOVES HIS AUDIENCE. MAKES ONE FEEL AS IF HE'S SINGING TO US INDIVIDUALLY. HE WILL BE MISSED
I went to almost every Tommy hunter show that came to Edmonton. His shows were consistently the best shows that my mother and I saw. It is sad to know that a great era in showmanship has come to an end.
Tommy Hunter and his band was amazing. He is so genuine and has a great voice. His corny jokes were great. Thanks for a wonderful show.
I'm so sorry that Tommy is retiring but we all have to do it someday. I have watched him over the years on TV & really enjoyed his show every week from his first year on the tube to his last year & every performance was better than the last. This is the first time I got to see his live concert & can't say enough about it just super fabulous & he just kept the audience going all afternoon.
Tommy Hunter can still sing, if only he would have just stopped talking so much already. If he sang more than he spoke it would have been a lot more enjoyable. I took my 70 something parents to what I thought would be a great show, but I was disappointed by all his talking and rambling on and on and on and on. Tommy I paid to hear you sing, not to have to listen to you talk and crack corny "clean" jokes, that you seem so proud of. I guess that's what happens when your 74. You kind of forget what it's all about and what people actually came to your show for, namely to hear Tommy sing, and not have to endure having to go down memory lane with you, listening to you philosophize. If that's what I was looking for I would have just bought your autobiography and not wasted my hard earned money on three tickets on a show that kind of fell flat.
I thought Tommy Hunter's voice sounded a little off, just not as powerful as I expected. I'm guessing he had a cold or sore throat. However, it was a fantastic show and brought back many delightful memories. I was hoping that he would introduce his wife to his fans.
I had forgotten what a super entertainer Tommy Hunter is. I went for nostalgia sake and came away with great memories of the past and now the present. His jokes were well delivered and the music was superb. The country gentleman with live on.
