About

Hard-touring Florida rockers A Day to Remember carved out their niche more than a decade ago by fusing metalcore verses with pop-punk choruses. They toured relentlessly before releasing their debut album, 2005's "And Their Name Was Treason," on a small indie label. On the heels of that album's success, the band landed a deal with a major indie label and released three albums over the next four years. A dispute with the new label led made the band take a more  DIY approach in 2013, self-issuing a new album titled Common Courtesy. A Day to Remember's current lineup -- which has been in place since 2009 -- includes Jeremy McKinnon (vocals), Neil Westfall (rhythm guitar), Josh Woodard (bass), Kevin Skaff (lead guitar), and Alex Shelnutt (drums). The five-piece group is known for pulling out all the stops in concert -- the over-the-top set-design on their 2013 looked like a two-story suburban house -- delivering plenty of pyrotechnics and energy for the fans who buy tickets.

    HELL YEAH!!!

by ErikaHawkGirl on 2012-07-04Boonstock - Gibbons

ADTR is my favorite band ever and I was slightly worried that they would suck live because well, some bands do. But they were amazing! I got right up in the front row and I've never had so much interaction with a band on stage before! *cough*kinda flashed Jeremy McKinnon but he threw guitar picks at me and sang to me and that was freakin sweet! So yes, I recommend ADTR to everyone because they have EVERYTHING.

A Day to Remember opening for Rise Against in TO

by chocobeans on 2012-06-28Air Canada Centre - Toronto

So they opened for Rise Against in Toronto. I mostly went for Rise Against but my brother is really into them, so we both went - and it was awesome! They played all their best songs and were really into interacting with the crowd. Their energy was infectious and even if you didn't know them, you were rocking along. Awesome! Thumbs up ADTR!

A Day To Remember amazing venue was alright

by LitlLamb on 2011-03-24Sound Academy - Toronto

I thought the sound academy was packed and it had really expensive pop. I would recommend the bands Pierce the Veil, A Day To Remember and I would say We Came as Romans did great! The backdrops and stage props were all amazing!

    Not worth the money

by crappypunkrock on 2011-03-22Sound Academy - Toronto

The show was alright, but I only went to see Bring Me The Horizon. May not have been their fault that they couldn't show up, just a big let down. I have already saw all three other bands on the bill, only went to see BMTH. Was not worth the money that I paid. I just hope Bring Me The Horizon comes back soon and makes up for this.

A Day To Remember, Good But Could Have Been Better

by crashlanding on 2011-03-22Sound Academy - Toronto

Jeremy's Voice was not what it could have been due to being sick, but the rest of the band kept the energy high and played amazing. Awesome effects and sweet stage presence. Had Jeremy's voice been 100% I know the show would have been unforgettable but alas it wasn't what it could have been. Also BMTH didn't show up which was a huge bummer but the rest of the bands were awesome. Pierce the Veil had a wicked energy and stage presence and really got me pumped up for the final set.

A Day To Remember gave us a night to remember!

by DariusChalmers on 2011-03-21Métropolis - Montreal

The show in its entirety was wicked. The opening bands were great, though the mishap with the We Came As Romans back banner was hilarious(it was upside down and they didn't show it at all for the rest of their set)! I was blown away by the intensity and energy that came from the show.

    Great preformance!!!

by sstteevvoo on 2011-02-01Showbox SODO - Seattle

This was one very fun concert!!! It was a small venue, but very good for this kind of concert. They sound amazing live,, better than recordings,, and know how to get the crowd moshing and going nuts!!!!!!!!!! I saw August Burns Red open for them,,, and naturally im a bigger fan of them so I obviously enjoyed it a bit more,, but ADTR was great and I highly recommend seeing them if you like they're sound!!!
