An amazing and enjoyable concert!! I would go again next Christmas if it returns to Edmonton.
This concert was really heart felt. The tribute to John Denver's music was lovely and we were quite amazed that we got to see his original composer as part of the show, how amazing to have such a talent in our midst. The orchestra played beautifully. The band was great. The singers were great. Special guests were a nice edition plus the children's choir really was the cherry on top. I have to say the highlight was the Muppet song recreation of John's stint singing the 12 days of Christmas with them back in the day. Really made us laugh and we needed a good laugh this year. The whole production was just such a joy and we are so glad we were able to attend.
It was a lot of fun! Can't wait to do it again. Thanks to Rick Worrell for putting it tgether.
Very enjoyable community oriented event. Some excellent vocalists and audience participation components were fun.
Great show to get you in the christmas spirit and bring back great memories.
As a HUGE lifelong fan of JD I was transported back to my younger self and all the music that I know so well. The group did a tremendous job and the guest singers were amazing. The 12 days of Christmas was a highlight for sure bur it was all fantastic. Very talented musicians and singers
We never heard of this group before but pleasantly surprised with the great music of John Denver. Great musicians back up by the members of the Edmonton symphony. The children’s choir really added to the joy of Christmas
We were on the main floor, we had a great view. All performances were great! The kids choir was nice and loud: very cute!
This was our second time seeing this group in concert, and they are fantastic!! We highly recommend. They do a great job of performing the cherished music of John Denver, and preserving his memory. This second time, we saw the concert at the Jubilee Auditorium, where the first time we saw them was in the Winspear. The Winspear wins, hands down, because of the state-of-the-art acoustics it offers, which is far superior to that of the Jubilee. I would recommend that you watch for a performance hosted at the Winspear, to get the biggest bang for your buck!!
