AC/DC IN CONCERT:
With dozens of driving anthems and countless epic concerts under their belt, AC/DC has become one of the most successful and recognizable hard rock bands ever. Powerhouse numbers like "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Highway to Hell," and "Back in Black" get ticket buyers headbanging along from the first few iconic chords, while a pyrotechnic stage show complete with fireworks, Jumbotrons, and stacks of cranked amplifiers ensures the whole arena sees, hears, and feels the thunder from start to finish. Legendary duck-walking guitarist Angus Young keeps crowds pumped with his relentless energy, doling out crushing riffs and lightning-fast licks with swagger to spare. And on the 2016 Rock or Bust Tour, special guest vocalist Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses steps in to lend his trademark range to AC/DC's earth-shaking sound, bringing a new edge to their larger-than-life performances.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brothers Angus and Malcolm Young got the name AC/DC from the back of their sister Margret's sewing machine ñ the same one she used to sew the campy Catholic schoolboy uniform Angus used to wear on stage. The fledgling hard rockers started making a name for themselves in small Australian clubs in 1973, but things truly started to take off when they hooked up with wild-man singer Bon Scott the following year. Sadly, tragedy struck a few years later following the international success of 1979's Highway to Hell when Scott died after a night of heavy drinking. Encouraged by the support of the late singer's parents, the group doggedly carried on with new frontman Brian Johnson to complete work on their next album, Back in Black. Since its 1980 release, that album has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide on the back of quintessential rock staples like "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Hell's Bells," and the title track. The band maintained a steady recording and touring schedule for the next three decades before health issues began to take their toll. First Malcolm Young was forced to retire in 2014 with Parkinson's disease, then hearing loss sidelined Brian Johnson midway through their 2016 Rock or Bust Tour. AC/DC announced that Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose would finish the tour in Johnson's place, while the latter explored hearing aids that would allow him to rejoin the group in the future without further damaging his hearing (happily he noted that he'll still be able to record music). This never-say-die attitude over the past 40 plus years has further glorified AC/DC's legend for fans, who know they'll rock the stage no matter what.

I took my son to his first concert and we both had an amazing time. The venue was very well organized!
We arrived just before doors opened. Lineups were long, but once they started moving,it wasn't too bad. We were able to buy horns before going in to stadium. Lineups for merchandise were really long, had to walk all the way back up the ramps, and when we finally made it to get merchandise, they didn't have bags,so we had to go in a different vendor lineup to buy a bag. Otherwise Opening Act was good and AC/DC Rocked! Only annoyance was people in our row leaving and coming back so much.
Top of my bucket list for music and AC/DC didn’t disappoint! From the lyrics we know by heart to the cannon booms, this show delivered. At 70, Angus can outplay most guitarist…,20 minute solo was epic. Venue needs to up its game. There was no clear direction for door entry & many of us stood “in line up” for hours waiting on doors to open only to have other people cut in front of us as there were no actual marked ques until we got within 3’ of the door. We had floor seats & also witnessed security being ignored all night. There were empty seats in front & behind us that had people appear around song 12 without showing their actual ticket and we could totally tell they were not their seats. Empty seats or not, we paid for that privilege.
What an amazing experience. High energy, precise execution, you can tell they are true professionals. Angus guitars skills amazing. Great screen shows as well. Well, worth the money.
Concert was amazing. Merchandise booths were not at all!!! They need a booth for people with disabilities who attend the venue. Not just this show, the stadium should provide it. I cannot stand up a cement ramp for 2 hours working my way to buy $90 tshirts.
Considering there ages, they are unreal. Angus Young moves like 40 year old
Really had a good time and will definitely go go see another one of my favourite bands through ticket master
Incredible performance from all the band members and crew! Angus gave an exceptional show as always. Epic 20 minute guitar solo that will be remembered forever!
The best of the best. I went as a tribute to my dad. He introduced me to rock n roll. AC/DC didn’t disappoint me at all. I wasn’t able to purchase a shirt though due to a super long line.
6th time seeing AC/DC and they did not disappoint. Had so much fun! Great set of songs ending with the thunder of the big guns!
AC/DC still rocks and Angus was awesome playing his guitar solo. I am glad I attended. Keep on rockin' on.
Instrumentals were great. The vibe of BC stadium was great. Unfortunately, you could barely hear the lead singer. It was like his mic was turned down. The music drowned him out
I only got to see them play one time, but I was way in the back. This time, I was up near the front, and well worth it. It was an incredible experience to see these guys play live.
77 Year old Brian Johnson and 70 year old Angus Young have been Rocking the crowds, in stadiums worldwide, for 45 years together. AC/DC, as a band, for 52 years. As a fan that has been fortunate enough to see this band on 4 other occasions, despite the natural declines, experienced through aging, there was not one moment of disappointment. AC/DC still Rocks!
This was the fourth time I saw AC/DC and they still put on a good show. Only complaint was that louder isn’t always better.
it wasn't the late 70 80s band but they rocked loud and hard! Hat tip...
Saw AC/DC in Croke Park Ireland, 90,000 strong and again in Vancouver. Awesome show, this band knows how to rock! My ears are still ringing but well worth it!
Great night got to finally see them. Sound was good everything went well
My dad and I seen AC/DC back in 2015 when they came to Edmonton, it poured rain and we left within a half an hour because I was freezing. Fast forward to 2025 at BC Place, I had the time of my life! Every song they played I was on my feet, dancing and singing, these guys truly put on an amazing show. 3 days later and I want to go see them again. I HIGHLY recommend you go see AC/DC, before they retire.
Went with the family. My 16 year old has been waiting her whole life for this. The guys did not disappoint. So much energy and fun.
