The only thing that I was very disapointed with was the amount of foul language and uncalled for chanting. There was alot of kids there including my 2. It would have been nice if that could have been controled other than that the event it self was as fabulous as usual and can't wait till the next event.
A good event especially for the kids! It was noisy but fun.
Total Redneck week-end, the bike jumping was awesome, we need to see more of Craig Phillips.
For the first time, my family and I went to see Monster Jam, My kids where thrilled. My son was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.
I believe the Saddledome is too small to host this event. They do not have room to get up enough speed and the freestyle was very boring. We did however really enjoy the motor bike freestyle. They did a fantastic job! I could have watched more of them and less of the trucks. We took our grandson to this event because he enjoyed it so much on TV, but those programs were from the US and they did them in a stadium. I would not go to another one if they continue to be in the Saddledome.

The event was fantastic. The Monster Mutt was exceptional and it was a pleasure to see its jumps. I think El Toro Loco should have won as Grave Digger did not perform the last show as its reputation states that it did. But alas. The motor cross display was truly a gem. The jumps stunned , particularly the backflip! My little son was screeching so much that the people in the front showed annoyance. I was proud of that - noise of an airport and people get frustrated with a 5 year-old being overjoyed at the display!
This event had a variety of competitions, so this helped a lot on being entertained the whole 2 hours. Some trucks broke so it didn't help a lot because they were changing the races and competitions.
Took my 8 yr old son and had a blast, the show was great, high energy and fun to just be there. Would go again anyday. Bring them back again soon.
I loved the show and my 3 year old son and 13 year old son were very excited and entertained. We would definately go again and my sons want to go again. The 3 year old drops his voice and revs it so he sounds just like a monster truck. Loved the entire show.
Overall good show 2nd half was shorter than 1st half, not sure if there was some mechanical problems of what be it kind of just ended out of nowhere.
Great show, quad racing and motocross free style were very good too.
Monster Jam is ok. Im a 38 yr father and brought my 4 year old daughter. ITs overly played up. Kinda hard for the trucks to do anything when the field is only the size of a hockey rink. I would recommend seeing it if you kids like monster trucks at all, just to say you went but way to many better things to do than to go again.
this was my sons 8th birthday present, and I can tell you it was the best day ever. We went to the pit party at 11:30 in the morning. It was incredible, to be able to see all the monster trucks up close and to be able to talk to the drivers. My son was in seventh heaven. The show its self was great. The noise and the rumbling that you could feel in the pit of your stomach was awsome, and to see the trucks fly through the air was just shy of breath stopping. The free style motor cross bikes where just as incredible. I honestly thought that they would hit the jumbo trone with how high they where jumping. Although with some of the machanical problems that the trucks where having I was a little dissapointed but everybody can have bad luck.
Although the freestyle dirtbikes stole the show, it was an overall great experience
I paid to see Monster trucks not quad races and listen to the announcer talk..and talk...and talk. A 90 minute show worked out to about 20 minutes of Monster truck action and the rest was filler and rubish. The Motor Cross bikes were cool, WOuld have rather seen more of that then silly quad races. I saw Monster Jam in 2009 and I was Impressed, this year. I was not at all and dont think I will be going again next year.
In all the years I have been attending the Monster Jam I must say that the course they had set up this time was more entertaining. I could however do with out the quad racing. It just really wasn't that entertaining for me or my family. Although when the barrel got stuck on one of the tires on the Saturday 2pm performance made it more interesting. The Motor X jumping was more like it. Those guys are amazing, so more of that would be preferred. In years past there use to be a Robot Crushing a car and blowing fire that would even be nice to see again. All and all I will make this a tradition and take my family to see them as long as they are interested.
Once again it was AMAZING ...Thank you for bringing them to Calgary. Also really enjoyed the motor cross... those Mothers should recieve bouquets every night!!! We look forward to next year!
AMAZING!!!! However Grave Digger shouldn't win all the time. Monster Mutt should have won.
The freestyle dirt bikes saved the show. The highlight of Monster Trucks was when one tipped over. Three trucks ended up breaking down and doing next to nothing. It was not the usual exciting show and I'm not sure I would spend the money to go again.
