monster jams need more space 2 preform way 2 tight in the arena for them but grave diggers tale gate stand was awsome my daughter and her friend had alot of fun watching good and loud im still def a week later haha
My son and his friend really enjoyed the jam this weekend. The smashing of the cars, high flying motorcross and the quad racers were fantastic. Good thing we had our ear protection as it was very loud. The only drawback was the $15 we had to pay for parking at Rexall, that was rediculous. Hope Northlands can work on that!!!!
The Monster jam was good, lots of excitment especially when donkey kong flipped sideways and the worst when Grave Digger died on the top of the hill, My son was so upset...
Donkey Kong stood up on end and when the loader tried to get the truck right side up, it went upside down which made my heart pump. Loved the four wheelers and especially enjoyed the motorcross jumpers.
Show tickets: $100+; parking: $15 (no wonder people hate Northlands); Crappy concession food: $21 (another reason to hate Northlands); MJ souneniers: $105. The fun and excitement experienced by us and our 5-year-old granddaughter: priceless. Great show; great day.
What a great event, family oriented, kids loved every minute of the show they had a pit party and got autographs and pictures with the drivers and their trucks, they also had quad races, motorcross show and the price was definately right. Cant wait for it to come back to Edmonton again.
The monster Jam is a great family event. They do a great job for being in such a small venue. The pricing for the tickets were abit much and the conessions are stupidly over priced. My kids enjoyerd the show but we froze our asses off due to the parking. It was a over all good time and it would be nice to see tis event in a bigger place so they have room to get some air.
Show was good for being in a small venue. The quad wars and especially moto-x were good intermission entertainment.
My 6 year old is a monster truck fanatic and because of this so is his 4 year old little brother. We had a BLAST!!!!! We bought the tickets for the boys for christmas and I'm so glad we did!! I would soooo recommend this event to anyone who likes monster trucks!! It was so much fun and we all had a great time!! And after waiting in the lineup afterwards, we got autographs from GraveDigger, El Toro Loco, Donkey Kong, Monster Mutt, and a couple of others. What a great afternoon!
Monster Jam was awesome!, even though the arena was small the quality of entertainment was great. There was a bit of everything, I was entertained the whole time. Looking forward to any repeat events, I will be definately getting tickets!
arena is too small to really do justice to these trucks, they don't even have enough room to turn around, saw this outside at Castrol Speed Way out by Leduc was 5X as entertaining, but the kids love to see Donkey Kong, Monster Mutt and Grave Digger
This was our seventh annual Monster Jam and probably our last. The show has gotten a little shorter and less entertaining each year. Used to be a demolition derby, remote contol cars doing flips during intermission and the first show had the fire breathing transformer robot. This was a pale imitation of a shadow of the real event. It won't ( or shouldn't ) last long like this.
I bought my brother 2 tickets for Christmas because I know he is a huge fan. That is about all he watches on TV so I knew I couldn't go wrong. He couldn't find anyone to go along so he asked me. It was good. His highlight was seeing Gravedigger. He's been a big fan of his for a long time. Spent a bunch of cash on souveniers. Good prices there. Not a fan of the motorcross segment but that's just me.
It was a lot of fun, my 4 yr old totally enjoyed it . The venue needs alittle more space for more obstacles.
I think this is a great family entertainment! It was great to see the trucks up close! Lots of fun when Donkey Kong was straight up! The quad racers were good but I didn't care for the fighting as I don't feel that is very sportsman like behaviour to teach kids. Overall we enjoyed our outing!
unexciting not enough room for the monster trucks to move...motorcross bikes were the best....I paid way to much for this event.
This was a gift for my son in law's birthday, for him, my daughter and granddaughter- they all loved it. Said it was awsome!!!
This is our second time to see the Monster Trucks, the first time was definatley better. I was disappointed that there were no smash up derby and Grave Digger died on top of the mound. The dirt bikes were amazing and Monster Mutt can soon become my favorite. I will go again, but no for a few years.

I took my parents and my 6 year old daughter to the Saturday afternoon show and we all had a great time. The sheer size and noise of the trucks makes for a great show, let alone watching them manouver the track without crashing into each other (that must take some great driving skills), and the quad races and insanely talented motocross jumpers add to the great entertainment. This was the forth time I've gone to Monster Jam in Edmonton and will certainly be going again to be entertained by more original redneck fun!
