  • Monster Jam, Ford Field

I thought the Monster Truck show on January 16th was a little disappointing. The trucks did the best they could do with the limited obstacles that were there. I think if the trailer was there to crash into and demolish, would have made the show more exciting. Maybe some fireworks at the beginning and at the end of the show would have brightened things up a bit too. I realize there was a problem on the course, a car turned on it's side blocking the track, but the cars pulling the trailers could have continued on longer. The drivers of the different trucks did an AWESOME job as usual, there was NOTHING lacking in their individual performances. GREAT SHOW......just more fun stuff!

  • I've seen better!!!

Considering the ticket price was raised this year, I would have to say that the show wasn't as good as the past years. ie: Cannon shooter, robot eating cars, canada vs usa(fight broke out) , and rock climbers, this year they only had dirt bikes doing tricks(don't get me wrong they were good) was expecting something more spectacular. Extremely Disappointed that Anger Management had problems before the show even started and didn't compete at all. Other that I LOVE MONSTER TRUCKS and will still attend next year. Hopefully next year half the trucks won't break. :)

  • missing the big names,

I've have taken my two sons to Monster Jam 3 years in a row. Each year its been on the Sunday, the second day of the show. The first 2 years the event was filled with lots of Big Name trucks, and the smaller names performed well and entertained. This year, the event was missing most of the big names and the lesser known ones broke down or didnt finish. Also, there was a lot more commercial type breaks and dead time.

  • not what I expected

by kelnel on 2010-01-21Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Most of the trucks were broken down including one of my sons favourites El Toro Loco. The kids had a good time but my husband and I thought it was to set up....much like wrestling and a little cheezy. If we went again I would buy cheaper seats so It didn't feel like such a waste of money. I think I'd rather save what I spent on Monster Jam tickets and splurge on Monster Energy supercross tickets. Last year it was alot of fun and I had no regrets about those tickets.

  • monster jam was kinda lame,

if it were not for grave digger being there and driving to his best and putting on a great show it would of really sucked, although the dinasour did pretty good and bounty hunter was trying the rest just rolled over the jumps or broke within 10 sec of racing, i would of liked to of seen more bigger names there. after all it isnt that cheap to go. there was no proper list i could find in advance to see which trucks would be at the event. if i dont find a proper list with some good names that i reconize next year none of us will be attending.

  • Too short!

by Deneuf on 2010-01-20Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

We enjoyed it more when it was 6-7 hrs long and had ATV races, Truck Pulls, Mud Bogs, Monster Dinasaur. It was good, but could have been better. The seats are WAY too crowded.

  • Had a Blast!!

We went to the Sunday show at the Roger's Centre and we had a great time. My kids were so excited to be there. The trucks were soooo loud, way louder than I thought they would be. Earmuff's for the kids are a MUST! We waited for autograph's after the show, which was smooth going. Randy Brown (Gravedigger) was awesome with my kids (I have 3 boys) for autograph's and photos, he was so patient, even though we were near the end of the line. I will definitely be going every year from now on. It would be nice to see some more of the big stars there, although, I guess they all start somewhere. A little more action would have been nice, some crazy cyclones or rollovers. You know....the fun stuff you see on t.v. all the time. LOL Over all, amazing time! By the way, the souvenirs are super pricey, so bring a lot of money with you. :D

  • Monster Jam is getting boring

by TruckRacer on 2010-01-20Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

When i first started attending Monster Jam years ago with my son it was alot better than now... more jumps, donuts, flips, roll overs, tires poping off, crashes you the kinda stuff we wanna see. The Monster Jam my family and I attend on Sunday Jan 17th 2010 in Toronto was just plain boring! My two sons (5/ 7 years old) kept asking if it was over and my daughter fell asleep. Only good moment was at the end when Grave Digger lost his tire! I'v seen monster trucks do 360 degree flips and land back on there wheels but didnt see that at Monster Jam!? BORING!

  • Monster Jam was great

by cmzeke on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Monster Jam in T.O. was great. I was a little disappointed in the number of lower classed trucks that were part of the field.......I was hoping for Batman, Superman, Max-D, Blue Thunder, Taz, and so on like TV. But overall it was a great performance by the drivers and their trucks. Some big air, great saves and lots of messed up trucks in roll over’s. Wow Bounty Hunter took one of the biggest spills. The only thing I suggest to parents with younger kids who live out of town.... Try the Sunday afternoon event.....I went to the Saturday Night show, and after a couple hours at the Pit party (if you go, which was well worth it), plus 3.5 hours of the Monster Jam Show, then trying to get out of downtown Toronto after, really takes a toll on the kids. But, I do hope to go again next year with my boys.

  • Terrible

by Sundog on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

I've been to see Monster Jam before, but this show was nothing short of abysmal. Half the field failed to make it past their mechanical problems, the racing was slow and uneventful and the only person who made an ATTEMPT at a reasonable freestyle was Gravedigger. The other headliner NEVER EVEN SHOWED. Absolutely awful, from this point forward I'll stick to watching it on speed.

  • Where are all the big name trucks?

by MonsterFanz on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Every year I take my little monster to Monster Jam but this year was a little disapointing because he did not recognise many of the trucks that were there. Where was Batman, Superman, Ninja Turtle, Max Destruction, Taz and all the rest that he sees on TV? If it wasn't for Gravedigger you would think it was a different show entirely. Hopefully some more will turn up next year.

by ChRiSsYSaRg on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I have been takin my little guy for about three years now havent missed a show in the last three years.. but i must say this show i was not overly impressed with... and i had twelve people in total with me.. two of the twelve were fallin asleep during the show :( i love monster jam!! but guys come on... Jurasic Attack was out for the race.. blew a tire and they didn't even blow it up????? for the free style... American Guardian did an amazing job at free style but got scored lower then some of the others.. not fair!!!!!! and of course GRAVE DIGGER!! he made the show the show.. like always :) he does a great job... Bounty Hunter would have put on an amazin show as well.. but lost a tire.. but i must say my kids LOVEDDDD the motor bikes.. that was the highlight of the whole show.. which really it shouldn't have been .. I wanna go next year.. but it just matters how the show is next year if i go again!
