  • Monster Jam was too loud

by WayLoud on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

I really can't tell you how the show was because after 45 minutes I had to leave. My son who is 7 could not handle the noise even with ear plugs. They really should advise parents that it is extremely loud and don't recommend it to child with sensitive ears. I bascially wasted my money this show.

  • Amazing event!!!

Once in a lifetime outing... that we'll redo next year!

  • Monster Jam Rocks

Very loud so if you bring little ones, bring EAR PLUGS. Lots of excitement watching things get run over. Event is not only monster trucks, but includes free style motorcross and smash up derby as well.Loved that you could get autographs from your driver but would be better if they advised which drivers would be at which autograph signing so that you could choose which one you wanted to go to rather than just take your chances.

  • Not the best Monster Jam I've seen

by DOUS on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Been to a few of this with my son. I can easily say this was one of the worst ones I've seen. A lot of equipment problems, the stunts were mediocre and only a few of the big names were out. Nonetheless my kids loved it still.

  • Monster Jam Sunday Jan 17th 2010

    by Boomer1 on 2010-01-19Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

This was our fourth trip to the Rogers Centre for a Monster Jam. Truely enjoyed the first three, can't say as much for this one. Others had King of the Hill truck races, RC trucks and cars and even Quad races. This year there was as always the Monster Trucks, 15 minutes of trick dirt bike moves (kinda cool) and a pretty sad smash up derby at the end. $150 for four adults(myself my wife and our two sons) $30 for parking..give your head a shake(under Rogers Centre) $30 for some munchies inside (so-so) $55 for supper out after the show and $20 for gas there and back. $285 for a day out with the family isn't a bad deal in todays market. But when all you talk about on the way home and the following day is the supper you had after the Monster Truck Show, need I say any more!!!It will be a very long time if ever before we go to another Monster Truck Show. We have been to two Saturday shows and two Sunday shows. The last Saturday show we went to we all kinda felt that the drivers were holding back to save their trucks for the show on Sunday so we tried a Sunday show to see if our thoughts were correct. Maybe a little bit better but not worth wasting an entire Sunday. We talked to other people sitting around us and they were feeling the same. Even little kids were getting bored near the end. If you fail to keep the attention of a 10 to 14 boy with a 1500 hp alcohol burning loud fast and flashy Monster Truck, you have a real problem on your hands. In conclusion, not a good day had by myself and my family at the 2010 Monster Jam in Toronto.

  • Monster Jam

    by grandma49 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the tickets for my daughter, her husband and the two grandchildren. They went and absolutely loved it. The kids were so excited when i saw them today, they had to tell me all about it and that Gravedigger won and some of the exciting things that happened to the different trucks. Both of the grandchildren came home with T-shirts and had them on today. They are really looking forward to going again next year. I have been to the Monster Trucks myself and I knew they would enjoy it.

  • Monster Jam was awsome ..!

by Shanana on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Monster jam was awsome I can't wait for it to come back so that we can go again! I have a 5 year old who was over the moon with excitment and walked around with a huge smile on his face all day. The only thing I would recommend that you have protective ear covers or ear plugs for your children very loud..!

  • Monster Jam rocked!

Very entertaining, even better than last year's show.

  • Monster Jam Rocks!

Monster Jam events are always amazing! The most fun you can have anywhere! i have been many times to the january event at Rogers Center and find the dirvers have bad luck with breakdowns and roll overs. fun to watch but must be expensive $$. I appreciate the effort the drivers put into the show but I'm always a little dissapointed and feel they could give a little bit more for us fans. I missed the little rc cars this year. They have been a lot of fun to watch run around the floor and do some of the jumps, not sure why they were a no show. I also missed the tuff truck compititions. another fun event missed although i think they were out due to the monster truck race track design. But I do think this year was the best overall and i will go next year for sure!

  • Monster Truck Jam

My family and I had really enjoyed it. It was amazing. The stunts were unforgettable. It was a great family outting!

  • Monster Jam was better in recent years.....

    by Bigdaddy62 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

We have been going to the Monster Jam for the last 8yrs now in TO and this year was pretty lame. In previous years there were always Big Stars like Superman, Batman, Monster Mutt, and Maximum Destruction etc who the kids want to see. Minor league drivers for a top dollar event this year. The drivers didn't seem to put on much of a show, some seem to be afraid to damage their vehicles and not much of an effort was seen for the Freestyle. There was an excellent crowd even due to a poor economy, but if you don't put on a good show, you will not get the fans back in any economy. We are a family of four that travel from Hamilton every year and we were very disappointed this year.

great show for our 4 year old son as well as ourselves!

  • by Jackoo on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I took my 3 year old son to see the show. He enjoyed it but he was also disappoined that most of the monster trucks that he knows wasn't there. On my part there wasn't enough jumps, crush cars and obsticals as you see on TV. Overall it was entertaining and would recommend it to other families with kid who are into monster trucks.

  • Better Last Year

by JDhogg on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

It was still an entertaining Monster Jam although there were more popular trucks there last year. Many of the trucks and drivers were lesser known and seemed to have issues during the race (perhaps because we attended the Sunday show and the trucks took a beating on the Saturday). For instance Jurrasic Attack and Bounty Hunter were too wounded to give 100% (the former not even participating the in freestyle). A lot of the Freestyle was a little lackluster but there were a few who put on a good show......Grave Digger as always did not disappoint. All in all the kids still enjoyed despite asking where Maximum D was or any of the character trucks that they love (batman, ninja turtle, superman, monster mutt.....).

  • Monster Jam madness

A great show, will go again next time they are in town.

  • DISAPPOINTED

    by DISAPPOINTED100 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Hello there, My name is VERY BIG FAN and I do not normally take the time to express dis-satisfaction unless I feel I the value for a product that I have purchased has been compromised. It was apparent that there were significant cut-backs this year in terms of obstacles and it could not be more clear that the trucks were not pushed to somewhat of a challenging threshold among other shortfalls for yesterdays event. This venue was the most disappointing Monster Jam I have attended out of the 4th consecutive I have seen. There may be an explanation that I may not be aware of but it could not be more clear that the 3 string trucks were laying up. Eg) Why would a truck such as Ground and Pound be in the same arena as the 1st string headliners….which were a disappointment themselves. I am not that knowledgable about the sport but my 6 year old son did recognize the fact that his favourite trucks besides “Grave Digger” were not part of the show. Where was: 1. Maximum Destruction…? 2. Blue Thunder…? 3. Escalade….? 4. Batman….? 5. Superman…? Should you have consideration to respond to these concerns, we would greatly appreciate a good gesture in the spirit of customer servce. Many thanks

  • Awesome Family Fun

by Chickstilldigus on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great fun for everyone. A fabulous family event. Make sure you go early to see the trucks and meet the drivers. My son and I had the best time in a long time!!

THE EVENT WAS AMAZING THE ONLY IMPROVEMENT I WOULD RECOMMEND IS THE FREESTYLE AREA NEED MORE ROOM SO THEY CAN PICK UP MORE SPEED

  • Monster Jam - Too many broken trucks this year !

    by Pylon24 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Nothing like last years event when Dennis Anderson was there. Only 2 trucks were any good in the free style. Next year they should bring 10 Grave Diggers scrap all the others that couldn't even start their trucks.

  • Disappointing this year

by TooBadDad on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

This year Monster Jam was a let down..., even my young sons realized that their favourite trucks were missing (except for Grave Digger). Also, there were almost no real drivers present. The two best were still team seconds. Due to the second and third string trucks and drivers, most of the field broke during the racing... I have never seen so many truck go down. It was a disgrace. Grave digger won... and only finished one race against an opponent that didn't break... all the rest were by runs. With the exception of two trucks, Jurassic Attack and GD, the free style was pathetic as well. Compared to years before this was awful. We have gone three years running, and this will be the last. I think we will save our pennies, and take a road trip to the states to see the real trucks with the real drivers.
