  • Jumps and Donuts

by MonsterJamFan on 2010-01-17Ford Field - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This was our second time to Ford Field for Monster Jam. Great selection of trucks but just wished Tom Meents and Maximum Destruction would have been there. Overall, it was a great show!

  • second tier trucks

it was a half ass performance the good trucks were in detroit the same night and it was the worst free style ive ever seen

  • monster jam VERY disapointing !!

by liftitup on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Monster Jam started with 12 trucks in pit party--Very COOL-. 11 trucks started racing with only 6 to finish even 1 race. Moto cross guys are amazing! 6 trucks start free style, with only 3 doing more than 20 seconds. Good thing GRAVE DIGGER was there and did an awsome freestyle or there would have been a RIOT!!! Demo derby cool also. Why do we pay higher ticket prices than U.S. fans, when we get crap 10-15 year old trucks that break down every 50 feet, and they get the headliners?????? DO NOT BRING THIS BACK TO TORONTO UNTILL THEY BRING REAL TOP CLASS TRUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To think this family day out lasted 11 hours(incl travel) and cost $500.00 NEVER AGAIN!!

  • Amazing Show

by Gabmike on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was great and entertaining for everyone. My son truly enjoyed the show.

  • Monster Jam was Monster Broken

by MjMC on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

While it was great to be able to get up close and see the Monster trucks during the pit party, it was very disappointing that more than half of the Monster trucks experienced some sort of mechanical failure and were unable to complete any of the timed portions. My youngest (6 yrs old) said that this was no fun because none of the trucks were coming out to play.

It's loud but fun! The Olympics of Motor sports! The demolition derby was a great way to end it.

Awesome as always. The kids and adults all have a great time. Supercross riders were really good too. See you again next year! Only down side is that the concession prices are unreal. Way too expensive!

Wasn't bad nice to see the drivers signing afterwards

  • Grave Digger and Bounty Hunter were amazing !!!

    by goldengirl2010 on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the Grave Diggers show on the ramps and how the driver was able to master the trucks stance. Loved the bikes with somersaults in the air off of ramps....... Bought a beer and a tshirt with grave diggers truck......... Was a great night !!!!

  • Monster Jam not Bad But Could Improve

by firsttimemonsterjammer on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

This was our first Monster Jam. The show was basically - 1st half - Timed Monster Truck races 2nd half - Freestyle Motocross, Freestyle Monster Trucks a Demolition Derby. The 1st half was boring. Many people were leaving to get food and drinks all the time. The 2nd half was more of what you would expect. More trucks getting battered by the course and losing parts, some great freestyle driving and a great smash up derby at the end. No fireworks or show quality as shown on the websites and other Monster Jam displays in the U.S.A. The show was very organized though and the pit and field crews were efficient in preparing the field between events and removing the damaged Trucks.

  • Monster Jam Good, Too Many Break Downs

by MathYou on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Good but every other truck broke down on the free style and the dirt bike freestyle was quite lame. Demo at the end was the best part.

  • Monster Jam was ok, but not as good as previous

by gregandjosh on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was a bit disappointing this year because they didn't have any of the big star trucks (other than Gravedigger) there (like Batman or Superman or Maximum Destruction) and it seemed like the trucks broke down most rounds even before they did anything. So in the end there was a lot of broken trucks that didn't finish races. The freestyle was a little bit disappointing until Gravedigger did his stuff. He should have gotten perfect scores from all the judges! And the demolition derby was fun too. We missed the remote control car races too. The motorcross demonstrations were pretty cool but could have been longer.

  • monster jam 2010

by Chasly on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Was somewhat of a disappointment as compared to previous years. Trucks kept breaking down rendering them unable to compete in races, making it rather boring. Same thing on the freestyle event only two trucks completed the freestyle event all the other trucks broke down within ten seconds of starting. The only truck worthwhile watching was Grave Digger who as usual put on one hell of a show demonstrating outstanding driving and excitement all the other drivers would do well to watch Grave Digger to learn how its done heres hoping next year is not the same dismal show i reluctantly stayed to watch this year

It seems that year over year Monsterjam has been going down hill. If it wasn't for Grave Digger there would not have been a show last night. When I am paying for tickets, drinks, snacks etc the expectation is that a great show is put on. I would think twice about going again which is too bad as this was an annual event I went to with my sons.

Too many trucks broke down. Grave Digger is the only one that put on a good show. Monster Jam is always bigger and better in the U.S.

  • Show was far from being a true Monster Jam

by Mikejax on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

While somewhat entertaining, too may trucks broke down..some even before show started. Only partial field made it to freestyle!

  • Monster Jam Toronto

    by Bigreddh1 on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

It was good. I wouldn't say it was great because in Toronto we don't get the big guys. We only get GraveDigger and its not even Dennis Anderson. Well last year we did. But we don't get Tom Meents and Max D. We get new drivers so it doesn't put on a really good show like you would see on tv down in the U.S. The new drivers go out and hit one jump and crash and flip over.

  • grave digger was the best by far

    by bob1116 on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

overall this was a great show but it wouldve been great to see some more popular trucks and bigger name drivers. although the freestyle motorcross was also great it wouldve been nice to see the four by four racing that motorcross replaced it was always a fun attraction. The derby at the end was great and overall this was a good monster jam event with grave digger and randy brown being the obvious star of the show earning the double down with relative ease ,although some trucks suprised and really stepped up to the challenge like jurasic attack , and maniac I also mention bounty hunter did great but thats not much of a surprise it still wouldve been nice to see either of the andersons, tom ments, jim creeten, lindsay weenk or another big name driver at least one wouldve been nice or atleast to see some of their trucks. well anyways it was a good show and although i have some negatives I'd still recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to spend a saturday. great show

  • Grave Digger made the SHOW!!

by Hessapp on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

When Grave Digger came out in Freestyle, thats when the show started and ended after his run!! He was absolutely Fantastic!! He knows how to hit the gas and make that truck work to its potential!! Between Dennis Anderson from last year and Randy Brown this year, they were both equally skilled in handling Grave Digger to give us fans what we wanted to see!! A SHOW!!!
