  • Monster Jam

by Anonymous on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

To many trucks broke down and very few big name trucks or drivers.

  • MonsterJam Toronto January 16, 2010"Yawn, Ho Hum"

by Luciano on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Very disappointing. Many of the trucks were broken down or broke down during the race. You knew "Grave Digger" the last truck to perform the freestyle, had to step it up more than 1 notch. If it wasn't for Grave Digger putting on a spectacular show at the end, this event would have been a flop! Even the Motorcross bikes were "ho hum, yawn" Same stunts every year, nothing exciting. Demolishion derby was "O.K." I don't think there was enough room for all those vehicles to run around. If there was more room for them, then maybe better smashing action.

  • Monster Jamage !

    by Spike624 on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The pit party was a lot of fun, the trucks were awesome up close and the drivers were great to talk to and took time with all the kids to sign stuff and have pictures taken. Great people. The show itself was, as always, a spectacle. The speed, the noise, the stunts, the rollovers, it's worth every penny. The moto-cross aerials at intermission were just as spectacular, those guys are nuts. A special thanks to Ticketmaster, I lost my tickets the morning of the show and after a phone call and a quick stop at the ticket booth upon our arrival at the Roger's Center, they were replaced, hassle free. Thanks a lot.

  • Monster Jam was awesome!!

by ijbb on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Monster Jam show was awesome again this time around. The dirt bike show was spectacular with all the back flips and neat moves. There was lots of new trucks to see too which kept the kids on their feet.

  • Monster Jam was forgettable, Rogers Centre sucks

    by RogersCentreSucks2 on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Monster Jam was very forgettable, way too much talking that you couldn't hear, then a truck runs for a minute, most had mechanical trouble, then more talking. I wont go again. I was watching lots of kids sleeping in the stands. I forgot how bad the Rogers Centre is. Finding your seat is impossible, the sections are confusing. The seating guy was hardly around, and most people were playing musical chairs all night trying to find the right seat. The seats are way too small, if you are over 5 feet tall. You get a fat guy beside you and you will not be comfortable for the entire show, not to mention your legs don't fit. It's no wonder the Blue Jays have such poorly attended games. I wont go back there again.

  • Grave Digger Still Rocks

by RebeccaL on 2010-01-17Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Kids loved the show but the adults loved it more I think. Grave Digger is an awesome performer. This was my second time going. I think that Jurassic is my new favourite though.

  • Great Family Event!

by Sherwoodsters on 2009-11-25Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

A great show....the only downfall was the size on the arena at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton it was small so the stunts were minimized. Other than that it was a fun show and the kids really enjoyed it.

  • Monster Jam

Great show! The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. My 3 year old cried when it was over.

  • A good event

by momG on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

The event was a first for us, my three year old son was extatic, the 9 year old, not so much. There to was lots of noise and smoke and fumes, but all in all I was glad we went. It's not something I would do again in a while, but for a one time experience it was interesting and the three to six year old audience was mesmorized. There were many very overpriced articles for sale, so take lots of cash!

  • Monster show

The show was very good all around. The drivers were awesome with signing autographs and pictures.

  • Entertaining Plus Awe Inspiring

by bulkbob on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The mighty monster trucks at Monster Jam must be seen to be believed. As a first timer at the show its shock level is tremendous. It can even be somewhat intimidating to the youngsters, but overall it is an excellent job of creating an entertaining show out of incredible machines. Even the other participant races that compliment the show offer humorous and thrilling racing entertainment. Would highly recommend going to see it again, especially in a larger venue than Hamilton's Copps Coliseum where more space would permit larger tracks and more interesting competitions.

  • El Toro Loco!!

by Draeko on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great!! Driver's were very pleasant. The US anthem was sung then the Canadian anthem followed, only one Driver, Chris Baker, El Toro Loco kept his hand on his hearts during the Canadian Anthem. Very respectful! :)

  • MonsterJam was awesome!

by Berries on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Remember to take ear plugs for little ones! Copps is a smaller venue than Toronto but they used the space they had to put on a tremendous show! We would go again.

  • Not bad considering...

by JDhogg on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 3 out of 5

My kids were excited to go to this event as we went to the Rogers Center to see Monster Jam last year.....no comparison. The Copps coliseum is not a good venue for this type of event as the stadium was way too small. They could not do full circuit races, and the freestyle was lame because the trucks could not generate any speed to perform decent tricks. They tried to make the most of it and the kids still enjoyed it, especially the ATV races and motocross jumps. If you want the full monster jam experience....go to the rogers center in january. • MonsterJam Hamilton was fantastic!

by kapil on 2009-11-23Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Ok, so this is my first monster jam ever, and I went because my 3 year old son was going bonkors over the youtube videos of Monster jams. We bought the tickets months ago and the suspense was driving everyone crazy! We go to Copps and the seats were great...The show was loud, ok, not just ordinary loud...I am talking heart stopping, taking over your pulse, moving you in your seat...raw horse power loud. I didnt realize you needed earplugs, good thing they sold them there! There was tons of crushing, jumping and racing! Definitely worth taking the family. Dont forget your earplugs, and if you are at all conscious of what you breath in...take a mask, cause the fumes were horrible. My only complaint was the smell and fumes. We are going to the Rogers center one as well, I trust that they will have better ventilation.
