All I can say is this was the best show I have ever seen, I would go and see this show again and again. They have been doing this for 35 years and I hope they keep doing it another 35 years. They are the bestest.
Hey, it was Air Supply in an intimate setting...so right away it's worth the ticket price. But what would have made it truly magical would have been being able to hear Russell's voice over the guitar and piano. Graham's voice was clear enough...Russell was a distant background melody singing from inside a duffel bag. Forget that I'm listening as a full-time professional recording musician...just common sense for any sound technician would be: if you can't hear the lyrics and melody clearly, neither can the rest of the audience. Russell's voice is phenomenal. Having it barely discernible above the overbearing midrange instruments was almost a "can we all have our money back please" offense. The big "I'm All Out Of Love" show-closer bombed as the singers' earpiece-monitors dropped out, leaving them singing out of time with each other and off-key.
If I want loud rock and \i do like loud rock I would go see Aerosmith of AC DC. The drums and bass overpowered everthing else. It was forgetacble with a few well done songs when the music was toned down and they were allowed to sing.
What a great venue!! It was wonderful to see Air Supply again after all those years. I loved them as I was growing up and they did not dissappoint. Thank you Air Supply
some of the crowd was out of control...screaming like it was the 60's and too much alcohol. The venue is very nice but the operators need to get their crowd under better control. 5 women behind me were screaming at the top of their lungs and talking throughout Christopher Cross's set.They were also taking pictures which I thought was not allowed. Air supply's set was very disjointed and poorly executed.... living off their laurels and focused on pleasing the 50+ female set.
it was a great,touchy show.i remember on that times when i was a teenager.
Their voice was original ! Had an amazing time!!!!
A very entertaining show with great vocals. Russell Hitchcock he can still sing reaching all the high notes. The boys went out into the audience while playing and singing and had the crowd in awe. I wasn't sure I was going to be impressed with seeing Air Supply but I was sure wrong. I had a great time and a new respect for these two. They played all their hits and I believe everyone there had a great time.
The performance was unexplainnable. They sounded as good, as the very first time they started. Their voices have not changed one bit. Their show was just fantastic! There music is always great sounding. I never get enough of hearing them play and sing. My money was worth the show they put out and I would go see them again and again. My daughter who has not really heard them and is into her own music said that was the best show she has ever been to. She will recommend them to her friends. Thanks for a great night of entertainment and songs.
A great concert with all the classic hits. The one downer that they never seemed to recover from was when Graham said he was Glad to be Back in America which was loudly booed. He tried to apoligize much later but by then the damage was done. Still that aside a great show. I am glad they now have a lead guitar player once again now if only they can play some songs like Kiss me Like you mean it and Goodbye again it would be even better.
It was a wonderful concert. Russell Hitchcock sang beautifuly. The rest of the band was also superb. Could not beleive that my favourite singer was there performing live.
tHE 80's duo did not disappoint us as they brought their enegy fun and memorable songs in an energized way that left us exhilerated ,tapping our feet, and singing and dancing in the aisles. Both singers sangs the song we loved, remembered as though they were singing them for the first time.They left us spell bound with their encore of Making love out of nothing capped a wonderful evening that we will remember for a lifetime.
As usual, the guys were very interactive with their audience and put on a great show. My only complaint was with the venue itself-Fallsview Casino. The sound was all base. So much so that you could barely hear the vocals. Also, the group likes to be interactive with their audience. They encourage the audience to come down to the front of the stage near the end of the show. The problem was that security was giving the crowd a hard time.
The setting for this concert was small and intimate with the band interacting continuously with the audience. The music quality was perfect with All performers putting all they had into the performance, it took me back to my younger years and made realize how much I missed thier music. We attend a lot of concerts and this was really a memorable event for both of us.
The concert was fantastic. I had seen them play in the 80's and they were great then and maybe even better now. It was a pleasure to meet them in person and have my C.D. signed. Also the kiss from Russell Hitchcock and the pianist was also very exciting. I would definately go again if they came to Niagara Falls. The whole band is very talented and Graham & Russell harmonize so very well together. I hope they come back again. EXCELLENT CONCERT!!!!! I have many amazing photos.
Was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this concert. They sounded really good and the venue is great for an act like this. They still sound like they do on their albums!
It was an amazing concert. One of the incredible part of the concert was when both artists went down from the stage and went up to the very back of the concert hall to be with the audience for the duration of a song. The venue is perfect for this type of nostalgic-going-down-memory-lane concert.
Well worth the money. The show was fairly good overall.
ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES I'VE EVER SEEN. A CLASS ACT ALL THE WAY. AND I'M NOT REALLY THE "BIG" FAN.....MY GIRLFRIEND IS. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT AND TOOK HOME AN AIR SUPPLY GUITAR PICK FROM THE SHOW.
