After establishing himself as one of country's biggest stars and consistent hitmakers over two decades, Alan Jackson undertook a labor of love in 2013 and released his first bluegrass album, appropriately dubbed The Bluegrass Album. Despite being somewhat of a niche release, it still reached No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, a testament to the huge and loyal fanbase Jackson has built over the years. He's sold more than 60 million albums worldwide over the course of his career, topped the country singles chart over 20 times and counts two Grammy Awards among the many statues in his trophy case. Among his best-known hits are "Don't Rock the Jukebox," "Chattahoochee," "Drive (For Daddy Gene)," "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," A Georgia native, Jackson got his big break when his wife, a flight attendant, spotted country-pop legend Glen Campbell in an airport waiting room and slipped him one of Jackson's demo tapes. That led to a contact with Campbell's publishing company and a move to Nashville for the couple. Jackson released his debut album, "Here in the Real World," in 1990, and his new traditionalist style was an immediate hit, spawning five Top 5 hits. As he developed his catalog of hits, ticket sales for his concerts grew steadily. He continues to tour regularly, consistently drawing huge crowds to arenas.

Alan Jackson was amazing! What a gracious southern gentleman he is!
Great seats, great sound, great night. He hasn't lost his touch.
Alan Jackson & his band, "The Strayhorns," came out right on time - sang like a bird - and never stopped. What a show! The "wide screens" at the front - along with the 3 screens behind Alan playing some of his videos really added to our sheer enjoyment. "Livin' on Love including pictures of his parents on the video was very touching - and of course "Remember When," was sung with such passion.
Alan Jackson was awesome live. I think he sounded even better than on a CD. Great show, great time, great music and great to look at! I loved how he signed autographs at the end of Friday's performance. You just do not see that very often. He is a great guy and fabulous performer. My first time at the Coliseum and I will be back. Sound was very good and not a bad seat in the whole place.
Alan Jackson is an amazing singer that is country all the way and I would see him over and over again. I recommend seeing him if you ever get the chance.
The Concert was excellent - Alan Jackson chose a wide variety of his songs for the evening. My one complaint is that the venue in Windsor (Colosseum in Caesars Windsor) - allows the first front 6 to 8 rows to stand throughout the concert, which makes those behind them stand in order to see. If everyone sits down, then everyone can see. Why pay $122.50 to peer through those standing for the entire concert!!!!
the show was awsome, especially when they played the song "where I come from" and the video was shots of our home town that matched the lyrics. The colosseum was nice, but they need to remove the glass in front of the mezzanine or shut the lights off in the front row. All we could see was our reflection in the glass.
I had an excellent seat, the sound excellent, it was an amazing concert.
The venue was great...comfortable, lots of room..every seat in the house a good one....wish I had known I could have brought a camera with me as would have had some great memories for the scrapbook!!! Had brought a special someone from Alabama to see the show and He loved it too! Will definately not hesitate to go to another Alan Jackson show or any show held at the Casino!!!! loved every minute!!!
My son and I went to the concert and were most impressed. We thought the venue was fantastic! The acoustics were wonderful and the seating really comfortable. There were quite a cross section of fans at the concert - I did expect to see more cowboy hats... All in all it was well worth the trip. I would go to other concerts there.
I saw him a the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor. It started off with his hit song from earlier this year. He included lots of his old favourites and newer ones too. Of course, Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning had me in tears (I work in the states, and that's where I was when it happened). He also had me in tears with the song, Remember When about him & his wife...he got real emotional at the end of it...it was really nice to see the videos behind the band! There was one that included pictures of his parents that I hadn't seen. It was wonderful!
Went to the concert in windsor and the place was sold out from the looks of things. I thought he put on a very good concert which at times his songs and emotions that went with his singing left you at times happy, sad, and elated. Love when people show that kind of emotion with their singing and make others get into their songs/stories that they are trying to portray to the fans.
All of the seating at the Windsor colosseum has a great view of the stage! Alan Jackson puts on a fantastic show.I definetely recommend seeing him.
IT WAS OVER A YEAR AGO I SEEN ALAN JACKSON IN TORONTO. HE WAS AWESOME.YOU HAVE A BIRTHDAY COMING UP IT'S A WEEK AFTER MINE.SO YOU MUST BE GREAT..I ENJOYED YOUR SHOW FOR MY BIRTHDAY GIFT.THANK YOU. WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR SHOW AGAIN & AGAIN
The countdown starts and then the story begins. If you want to hear all the familiar songs and watch as the story of a good old country boy unfolds then don't miss an Alan Jackson concert. So many of his songs refelect periods of his life and times. This venue is fairly large but you feel like your in your neighborhood bar on a sat night. We enjoyed the concert and it seemed it was over far to soon but lasted about 1 1/2 hrs with no breaks so not bad at all.
Alan Jackson still has it at 50 years old. His career began over 20 years ago, and it is far from dwindling. I was lucky enough to have 8th row tickets and a cousin of mine works for the Collosseum. With wine in one hand and my camera in the other the countdown started. Two minutes, one minute, 30 seconds, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...Ladies and Gentlemen, ALAN JACKSON. Donning white jeans, a black shirt, cowboy hat, and boots he brought the crowd to their feet. From 'Chatahoochi' and 'Remember When', to 'Back Where I Come From' and 'Merc', the crowd was full of energy, as was the band and of course, Alan himself. I, along with my cousin and over a hundred other fans were listening and dancing right up at the stage. Although I didn't catch any of the picks he threw out, I left with some amazing photos, and of course the memory of listening to Alan Jackson from three feet away! He put on an awesome show and I encourage anyone who hasn’t (any country fan that is), to see him if they get the chance. ©2009 Ashivy
Alan Jackson knows how to keep the crowd interested and makes it known he is aware of where he playing. He still has it and sounded awesome. Wish we had been closer and up dancing!!!
The concert was great. Sound and venue made it quite memorable.
My wife and I watched Alan Jackson last night at Caesars. He was great, exactly like we expected. The audience was a little older then we are use to and therefore a little less excited then we hoped. Everyone was sitting down but we were much too excited too sit for the show, so what made it great is that we were able to go to the front of the stage with a crowd of people as excited as us and sing and dance with Alan. It was a great time. Alan is amazing and very talented and we are very happy that he came to Windsor so we could see him live. Unforgettable. We caught a guitar pick and it is going to be framed on the wall.
I throughly enjoyed the Alan Jackson concert. He sounded wonderful live. He interacted with the audience and made Windsor/Ontario apart of his music. I would recommend this concert to anyone.
