After establishing himself as one of country's biggest stars and consistent hitmakers over two decades, Alan Jackson undertook a labor of love in 2013 and released his first bluegrass album, appropriately dubbed The Bluegrass Album. Despite being somewhat of a niche release, it still reached No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, a testament to the huge and loyal fanbase Jackson has built over the years. He's sold more than 60 million albums worldwide over the course of his career, topped the country singles chart over 20 times and counts two Grammy Awards among the many statues in his trophy case. Among his best-known hits are "Don't Rock the Jukebox," "Chattahoochee," "Drive (For Daddy Gene)," "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," A Georgia native, Jackson got his big break when his wife, a flight attendant, spotted country-pop legend Glen Campbell in an airport waiting room and slipped him one of Jackson's demo tapes. That led to a contact with Campbell's publishing company and a move to Nashville for the couple. Jackson released his debut album, "Here in the Real World," in 1990, and his new traditionalist style was an immediate hit, spawning five Top 5 hits. As he developed his catalog of hits, ticket sales for his concerts grew steadily. He continues to tour regularly, consistently drawing huge crowds to arenas.

Alan Jackson is one of the all time greats. He came out and sang songs from day one to now. The whole place was just a rockin. The roar of the crowd was deafening at times. Really enjoyed his short 'sit down' performance. Just, just great time for everyone there. What can I say, it was Alan Jackson!!
I don't know if it was A J 's sound system or Rexall's but it was terrible. So much distortion. Bass was really bad. Could not understand words to new song G. Cannon sang. First group almost unable to understand anything. Too bad becasue A J was great but could have been amazing with better system. average rating because of sound system.
Alan sang lots of his hits and played to the strengths of his run and many songs. He could have sang more but time is llimited to each location. Best seat ever at a event. Would go again. Only draw back was on stage camera guy kept getting in the way.
Will see anytime! Such a class act. AAAAAAAAAAAA1!
Alan Jackson was great as always. The concert was amazing. Enjoyed George Canyon too. Encore was to short..but otherwise loved it
Alan put on a terrific show! He performed for about an hour and 45 minutes, and every song tells a story!
The concert was great. He sung a lot of his old songs (YEAH) and his new songs too!! It was really good. We really enjoyed George Canyon too as well as the Hartmens.
Great Show. Canyon was great, Jackson did not disappoint and the Harters were a nice bonus. I will forgive Jackson for the Chevy plug.
My Wife's 2nd time seeing Alan Jackson, they loved his preformance once again!!
Great singers just need their music for a great time, no special props, no special lights, the music itself makes it all happen.... I loved my seats!!!
this was the first time that I saw Alan Jackson live. He put on a good show but I wish he would of come across the stage more often than just standing in one place to sing. I had good seats
Really enjoyed the whole show. Lyrics of all 3 performers were easily and clearly heard. I felt we got our money's worth as show started promptly at 7PM and finished at 10:45 PM. All performances were enjoyable - warm up acts did exactly what they were supposed to do and weren't overdone! Alan Jackson is always fantastic as he doesn't try too hard - just comes out and sings, talks to the audience and comes across as very laid back and a real true human being. Really liked the fact that show started on time!
2 opening acts both good and jackson is a great country guy. The sound was poor as it appeared to be overdriven for the capacity of the speakers. Not that it was too loud just very rumbly souding on the bass side. People blame the building but I have heard great sound there for concerts such as elton john il divo etc .people kept filing past us after the concert started and had to wait for saddledome people to validate their seats which took about 30 seconds for each , speed it up!
I had an awesome time the concert was great from start to finish!
I loved the fact that he sang all of his songs that I love. I enjoyed every minute of it.
It was great , he is an entertainer. Great sound and great music. Crowd was loud!
There are not many performers that impress after 20+ years. Alan Jackson is one of them. I had the opportunity to see Alan about 15 years ago, and he started the show then by saying that we didn't pay to hear him talk, so he wasn't going to. At that time, the special effects were a sign taped to the back of his guitar. This time, there was a bit more chat, but not much; Alan knows the crowds come to hear his songs, and he makes sure we hear them all. He still doesn't have a lot of flash in his show, but it was not missed. The music provided all the flash that was neccessary. I was a bit dissapointed that he did a short medly of two of his older songs, and his recent duet with The Zac Brown band. The older songs are still relevent and worth hearing, and his band mate that sang the Zac Brown part is a strong enough singer for the two of them to do the whole song. That was the only dissapointment of the night. Despite calling his band "laid back" there was a lot of energy to the show, in fact, they played for over 90 minutes. The band is a talented bunch, and they were willing to share their talents with the audiance. The opening acts of The Harders and George Canyon fit well with Alan's music. It would have been nice to hear more of George, though. The Harders show promise, for just having the three of them, all siblings, on the stage, they filled the Saddledome with sound.
Alan Jackson is just Awesome! I would recommend anyone to go and see him in concert.
After his last performance in Calgary I would be pretty hard pressed to bother spending money to see him again. He didn't put any effort into his performance and kept passing the buck for the band and the audience to keep the show going... I don't think he even really finished an entire song -- just kept throwing his arm in the air for everyone else to take over and there he was just walking in circles... Such a poor stage act and we were terribly disappointed.
