Great theatrics
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver
We all thought that the show was great, costumes and dancing were wonderful. The four of us ranged from thirties to sixties. One of our group was calling a friend during intermission to get tickets for the next show. The demonics were strong in every way. The choreography could have been stronger and less repetitive in some numbers but overall this was a great show.

Ballet + Elton John = Winning Combination
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver
Amazing costumes, video screen, great dancers, and music by Elton John and Bernie Taupin provided a visual and audio treat. It was a high energy show and Elton John portrayed by Yukichi Hatto was particularly outstanding. Full of stamina and talent, Hatto gave a brilliant performance along with the many costume changes while still on stage. The dancers and the choreography of the 14 songs did a fine job of portraying various highlights and lowlights of Elton John's life.

The production was very well done. I loved the costumes and the characters and I was especially impressed by Yukichi Hattori; so much energy. I loved the on stage costume changes! I hope the Joni Mitchell Ballet will tour sometime. I missed it the first time around and after seeing this I would love to what they with Joni's songs.
