Allison Krauss sounded amazing. All of the band played numerous instruments which was fun to watch. I would definately go again. However the openeing act and the 30 minute intermission after that was just a waste of an hour.

by Anonymous on 2011-07-07Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonWe were very impressed with the misicians and quality of the show. Alison is a favorite of ours and sounds as good live as she does on her CD's. She has an angelic voice and is truly a joy to listen to. It was a pleasure to watch Jerry Douglas play and the whole band, after 21 years deffinatly play as one.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Good Old War Opens For Allison Krauss
by musicmaven on 2011-07-05Jack Singer Concert Hall - CalgaryPhiladelphia group "Good Old War" laid down beautiful harmonies. Wicked drums and guitar, great lead singer. Hope they come back to Calgary. In lobby, everyone clambering for both CD's for $20. Group happily signed CD's and seemed most chuffed that people liked them so much. Allison was amazing throughout.Sang and played for two hours, then returned for achingly beautiful acoustic set. Standing ovation for dobro player Jerry Douglas as well as whole band.
