About

Allen Stone is an R&B / soul singer from Chewelah, WA. The son of the pastor of the local church, he was immersed in gospel from an early age until he found funk and soul as a teenager through Stevie Wonder’s Innversions. Billboard has praised his “disarmingly soulful vocals” and WXPN says "his energetic shows, plus his warm and evocative albums, explain why Stone has such a solid fan base". Allen released his 3rd studio album in 2019 called Building Balance that includes hit songs Brown Eyed Lover, Sunny Days, and Consider Me. Building Balance is a textured amalgam of R&B and soul, which saw Stone draw inspiration from ‘70s funk and punctuate his music with modern pop flourishes. His latest release, a cover of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love”, is the first song off his upcoming acoustic album APART, due to releases Nov 12th. “This album was a way to pay homage to the songs that have been my foundational support for the last decade, and to also pay homage to all the people who’ve loved these songs over the years,” says Stone. He has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as the Special Olympics opening ceremony, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and has been a guest mentor on American Idol.

The live performance let by Allen Stone and the band in Montreal at Le Studio took us on a musical journey. Not a moment of distraction. Still feeling each artist’s fine presence! Opening with Cassandra Lewis’ generosity on stage, wrapped in high quality vocals truly set the mood for an evening to feel privileged by. Haven’t stopped thinking about it. Thank you!

From the first act to Allen Stone, this was an experience! The crowd was warm, happy to be there and the artists delivered big time! Allen and the band were on fire, amazing band by the way! Stone took charge and made sure we were going to have a good time, and we did! And in a small venue like that it was great!

  • Simply the best

I traveled a few hours to see Allen Stone in MTL and came solo during a stressful time and I can't say enough how wonderful Allen's show and his band and team was. Allen certainly is an expert at leading his band and surprisingly the audience as well. He made the vibe feel loving and accepting and a free space to enjoy the music. I felt free to dance and sing along. I was embraced by others attending beside me. Allen Stone is the real deal. You can tell he shares his heart through his music and it is felt at his shows. I'd see him every chance I'd get.
