Ripe Tickets

My teenage sons introduced me to Ripe, early 2020. We listened to them all through the lockdowns, they always kept our spirits up. Such a unique sounding group Funk/Blues/Rock. Robbie the lead singer, has an incredible voice, I love his tone and that rasp, tugs at my heartstrings. He sings and the band plays with emotion! I love the combination of trombone and trumpet with peppy, upbeat percussion, and that heavy, funky swank from the bass intermixed, is FIRE! It’s music that you can’t sit still to, you have to move!! We drove all the way down from Kingston/Brockville Ontario, Canada to see them play at the Bethel Woods Art Center, in Bethel NY!!! Original home of Woodstock, that alone, was magical, then add Ripe, it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Robbie is a very humble and charismatic man, introduced his band mates with emotion and gratitude. If there’s one band out there you should see, it’s definitely this one!! They’re amazing live, not many bands sound as good live as they do on their albums!

Love this band. Lots of energy, dancing, great acoustics. Hope more people go see Ripe!

This energetic group of talented musicians, fronted by the quality vocals and engaging stage personality that is Robbie Wulfsohn, put on one of the most enjoyable concerts. Great venue but I suspect this band would be fantastic to watch anywhere.
