Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Tickets

I would've like to been aware prior to the viewing the show that the 2 performance dates would be showcasing different performances. I would've liked to have scene the performance 'Revelations' , which I understood only was showing at the matinee the Saturday. I attended the Friday show. Overall what I did experience was outstanding. I would recommend anyone go and take in a performance of this group. Next time I will venture to New York to catch a performance!!!

Took my kids ages 7 and 10. All of us had a great time. The youngest child enjoyed the settings. The older child loved the story telling through dance. I enjoyed the score, athleticism and grace of the dancers-amazing choreography too.

The Saturday matinee performance of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre was spectacular. The four dances were wonderfully performed, especially "Revelations" the classic piece that we have seen before in New York City. Anyone who loves dance should take the opportunity to see this terrific dance company!

I loved seeing the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in person. The costumes, lighting, and dancing all came together for a gorgeous show.

No the best show. Sadly. Only the first piece was good with lots of dance and movement. The first solo, great dancer but bad choreography. He is an amazing dancer but the choreography never challenge him. Lots of hip-hop. Too bad my first bad experience regarding Alvin Ailey company. Sad, very sad.

As usual, Alvina Ailey was superbe! One of the best dance companies for sure. The premiere of Exodus was like decadent chocolate, truly incredible!

This is one of the best trained, most amazing dance companies around. Choreography, both new and timeless pieces still resonates and the dancers are extraordinary - their training and control and ability to hold space is remarkable. Such a joyous, soul feeding experience. Everyone should see at least one performance of this dynamic company.

Compare to the performance in 2013 this was not one of there best performance. It was boring.
