AMERICAN IDOL will heat up arenas across North America, when AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! returns for another summer jaunt, showcasing performances by this season's top 11.
AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! 2011 lineup promises to be the most memorable yet given the diverse and daring talent on the roster, and it's hitting markets all across North America with 45 dates confirmed. The top 11 comprising the tour—Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Stefano Langone, and Thia Megia —are primed and pumped to give fans a night of unique and unforgettable performances.
AMERICAN IDOL remains the #1 rated show in America, watched more than any other programming, and it's because of the amazing talent. This year, iconic judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez went through a tight race to narrow the contestants down for America to decide who will be the next big star. Their wisdom, candor, and sense of humor continue to propel the show along at a lightning pace.
Watching AMERICAN IDOL at home is always enjoyable, but seeing these artists live is an experience. Past tours have featured current pop luminaries such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Adam Lambert, Lee DeWyze and so many more. Every summer, the tour keeps IDOL alive in arenas everywhere allowing the audiences the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite contestants. This top eleven will have crowds on their feet singing along to every word. Get ready...
The AMERICAN IDOL season finale will air on FOX May 26th, but the action will continue live on stage all summer with AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! Don't miss it when it hits a town near you.
Loved the American idol show. Palace theatre was beautiful with great acoustics The show was jam packed, full of great energy and amazing songs.
Terrible!! bad song choices awkward silences no narration/intro very bad stage presents maybe they are just to new to know how to entertain an audience save your money!
This was a great show and it was sold out. Everyone who performed were brilliant.
This was my fourth Idol concert and it was great as usual. It was more convenient for me to travel to Rama but wondered why it got moved from the ACC in Toronto as the majority of concert goers in the past were young teenaged girls who are not allowed to attend a casino for a concert......
I had the meet and greet package and I was a little disappointed. The whole thing felt very rushed. The sound check was really cool but the Q and A afterwards was very short. I handed in my questions (about 5) and only about three were asked. Maybe a total of five or six questions were asked all together. Then we were each allowed a picture with all of the idols. We were not allowed to pick where we wanted to stand or have individual pictures. Only some people (there were only 8) were allowed autographs and then only from one person. There was no opportunity to talk to the idols at all. It was supposed to last until 6:30 and they ended it at least 15 minutes early. I was very excited to meet the idols (especially Sam!) but I expected a bit more for the money. The concert itself was very good and I had a lot of fun!
I'm an AI fan. Have watched every season. This is the first top 10 show I have seen and probably the last. Here's why: No live band Music was exactly the same as on the TV competition Most of the songs by each of the top 10 were sang exactly the same on the show Very scripted positioning of the singers and not a lot of wandering around Nobody ventured into the audience like they all did quite frequently in the competition
First time to Rama, Loved the performances, would have been nice to beable to have a alcoholic beverage and been able to dance! Stage area in front??
The show was amazing!!! They sound and look even better in person. We loved it!!!!
All 10 idols brought their A game to the show and did not disappoint. The show had combination of group pair and individual songs ,and consisted of most of the outstanding performances that were seen on the show .the stage was simple but effective with varying animation backdrop per preformance.
I am a fan of American Idol and all performers were amazing....unfortunately the sound resonated thru the theatre. Terrible acoustics. I will not attend a concert here again.
