About

AMERICAN IDOL will heat up arenas across North America, when AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! returns for another summer jaunt, showcasing performances by this season's top 11.

AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! 2011 lineup promises to be the most memorable yet given the diverse and daring talent on the roster, and it's hitting markets all across North America with 45 dates confirmed. The top 11 comprising the tour—Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Stefano Langone, and Thia Megia —are primed and pumped to give fans a night of unique and unforgettable performances.

AMERICAN IDOL remains the #1 rated show in America, watched more than any other programming, and it's because of the amazing talent. This year, iconic judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez went through a tight race to narrow the contestants down for America to decide who will be the next big star. Their wisdom, candor, and sense of humor continue to propel the show along at a lightning pace.

Watching AMERICAN IDOL at home is always enjoyable, but seeing these artists live is an experience.  Past tours have featured current pop luminaries such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Adam Lambert, Lee DeWyze and so many more. Every summer, the tour keeps IDOL alive in arenas everywhere allowing the audiences the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite contestants. This top eleven will have crowds on their feet singing along to every word. Get ready...

The AMERICAN IDOL season finale will air on FOX May 26th, but the action will continue live on stage all summer with AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! Don't miss it when it hits a town near you.

    Great Show!

by KrisAllanFan on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

Great show! Everyone sounded 100% better than on TV and looked really slim and hot! Kris and Adam's performances were amazing. I am definitely buying Kris' CD when it comes out : )

LOVED American Idol -- but it needed MORE ADAM!!

by MapleBlondie on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

First half of the show, showcasing the #10 to #5 contentests was good (Anoop and Matt really stood out) but nowhere near the caliber of the top 4 -- albeit they sounded much better live than they did on TV. Allison and Danny were amazing, such powerful voices. Adam had everyone on their feet and was the BEST performer of the night. I may be a little biased, because I went there specifically to see him, but we needed MORE ADAM and less of the others (read #5-#10 contestants). Kris was a major buzz kill -- after all the excitement Adam drummed up, Kris killed it immediately with his 4 guitar ballads :( Would definitely see Adam, Danny and Allison again, but would prefer if the others stayed home.

    A great show!

by Michelle67 on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

I took my seven-year-old daughter to the American Idols Live concert in Vancouver. Overall, it was a great show. In particular, Scott, Anoop, Matt, Allison and Kris were strong. And of course, Adam had an amazing presence. And his voice is just as great in person as on television. My only complaint is that the show lacked spontaneity. For example, the show ended promptly at 10 pm with no encores. But all in all, it was a fun, family-friendly concert experience.

    Sweet night

by SimonJackson on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

Concert was really good overall. The bottom six all were better than expected although Meagan was only better because of her hot pink stiletto's. Matt did a great job on Georgia and I also like the dueling piano's with Scott (not quite like Elton John and Billy Joel but not bad. Allison really rocked with her Barracuda song and also really enjoyed her duet with Adam. Danny was great, could be a preacher. The only dissapointment for me was Adam. He is amazing but I was kind of dissapointed with his song choices. I was really hoping to hear him do a Queen song. Whole Lotta Love was excellent but a couple of songs I didn't really know. Kris was great aswell although I felt bad as he even knows he is second fiddle to Adam. Overall great night for my family and my girls even got an autograph from Adam after the show.

    American Idols were GREAT!

by tiger on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

This show was much better than expected. The vocal talents of the 2009 Top 10 were way better than expected. This isn't a production - it focused on the vocals and they were outstanding.

American Idol....fun for the whole family

by Cor25 on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

What a great night. Moms, sisters, daughters.....and even some happy guys!!!! The sound may not have been as good as other concerts but a great show all the same. Of course the highlight was Adam Lambert and he certainly didn't let anyone down.

    Idols was lots of fun

by Britty on 2009-07-09General Motors Place - Vancouver

I was never really into the TV show but went to the concert with a friend for her b-day. The Idols rocked GM place, especially Adam Lambert, whose Bowie tribute made my night. And any concert that ends with Journey is aight with me!
