Amon Amarth have been marching purposefully from triumph to greater triumph for the last two decades. Formed amid the fertile Swedish metal scene in the mid 90's, these dedicated diehards brought a new sense of drama and destruction to the world of heavy music, propagating tales of Viking mythology and mortal combat over a devastating soundtrack of crushing rhythms, refined melody and rousing, rebellious refrains. From the release of their debut album Once Sent From The Golden Hall in 1998, to their latest masterpiece Jomsviking, Amon Amarth’s trajectory has been firmly upward, as this band’s devotion to touring the world and spreading their inspirational creed resonates with the ever-growing hordes of like-minded metalheads.
Swedish war machine Sabaton are on their way to worldwide heavy metal domination. These platinum selling, Falun-based heavy metal heroes are heading to Australia. No mercy will be given and all guns will be blazing, as this tireless killing machine prepares to blow fans to another dimension, playing songs off their entire catalogue as well as their latest opus The Last Stand.

Went to see Amon Amarth. All 4 bands were fantastic! Amon’s stage show was great. Was not expecting that much theatrics. Would definitely see them again!
My son and I had a BLAST watching all the bands, but Amon Amarth really blew the roof off! Special shoutout and thank you to the Drummer for singling out my son and gifting him a drumstick! You have never seen a happier more exhausted boy. Can't wait to see them again!
These guys really know how to entertain a crowd. They were way better live.
First time seeing Amon Amarth and it was great. Full of energy and enthusiasm, you can tell the group enjoys putting on a show. Can't wait to see them again
Damn fine show, Amon Amarth never disappoint. Awesome stage show and great sound!
My first time seeing all the band's of this venue. Always impressed by the stage setups, Amon Amarth had a really cool one below the drummer. And all the band's were interactive with the crowd!! Continually looking forward to the next show!!!!!!!!!

Great concert. Getting in was quite quick for amount of people there. Lots of room whether you wanted to mix it up in the front or chil out by bleachers in back. Only odd thing was the line up for merch was all night long. Very slow but I guess that's on the bands?
Amon Amarth always puts on the most amazing shows. I hope they come back every year if they could. Always a great time listening to Amon Amarth live
The Amon Amarth show at the Edmonton Convention Center was great. I came for them specifically and they didn't disappoint. Band was alive and into it. The stage and some theatrics were well done. No tech malfunctions. They kept the crowd going. Very much enjoyed it. I wish more bands like this would come to our area. I'd definitely see them again.
This show was everything I hoped for and more. The band was tight, the set was great. Theatrics and stage display were over the top. The performance and stage display itself was reminiscent of an old Iron Maiden show. Phenomenal!
Title says it all. Both those bands were amazing. Obituary was ok, but played mostly newer, slow songs. Amon Amarth. Meh, their gimmick gets old fast. On-stage Viking cosplay and endless songs about Valhalla, glory, Asgard, etc. gets tired fast. The first three bands were worth every penny. Check them out then sit at the back and laugh at the Viking silliness.
Was the first time seeing them and they were so awesome 🤟 they riled up the crowd and fired up the stage. 🔥 Literally. Can't wait till they come back to Montreal!!
J'ai amené mes trois enfants (22, 21 & 16) et ils ont vraiment trippés. Wow c'est certain que c'est à revoir.
Once again Amon Amarth delivered an awesome show. Great crowd, great place.
Well organised. Fans repectful. Bands were generous. First show in Place Bell, not the last
I finally caved and went to see a show at Place Bell, because to due to the pandemic I hadn’t seen a show in almost 3 years. And I wanted to see all 4 bands. But it just confirmed what I already knew. Getting to the venue is garbage. Why build an amphitheatre so close and yet so far to everything that already exists and works?! I’m never going back to Laval’s Place Bell again
I didn’t know the first 3 groups, but they were really nice, particularly Carcass and Obituary! It was the first time I got the chance to see Amon Amarth live. I’ve been a fan of them ever since I’ve started listening to metal music. The decors were so nice to put the ambiance in. Music was awesome and the band too!! Skål 🤘
The great melodic death metal music and the theatrical effects with vikings, dragons and fire was more than awesome ! If I had a horn to drink my beer it would've been perfect ! 🤘🏻
