  • Definitely worth it

Lorna Shore really set the bar high with their performance at the Commodore Ballroom, and Whitechapel was also equally impressive. Sanguisugabogg did a good death metal set and Kublai Khan TX had a pretty good metalcore set as the two openers, but it was Whitechapel that definitely established the tone for the night. Whitechapel's set this time featured songs from across a bunch of their albums, including their new song A Visceral Retch. Phil Bozeman and the rest of Whitechapel delivered a really brutal performance and it could have been a complete night if it just ended with them. But Lorna Shore came after, and with them it went even further. Will Ramos proved without a doubt that he's one of the best deathcore vocalists with his sheer intensity he brought to the stage. Lorna Shore did not disappoint. With all of Lorna Shore's songs there's the symphonic flourishes which brought a moody atmosphere to the mix to go with all of the breakdowns. They played all of Pain Remains for their set with To The Hellfire thrown in, and it was certainly a great thing to see all of it played live.

Such a sick show! The energy was incredible and lasted from start to finish. The live vocals were beyond amazing. Everyone did a smashing job!

Unbelievable voice! Loved every second of the show. Just incredible! Can’t wait to see Lorna Shore again! The power, the pain, the anger and the beauty in Will’s voice is absolutely breathtaking!

Awesome line up! All four bands were great and full of energy. The venue “History” was perfect.

  • Kings of Live Deathcore

Amazing live. Have seen them twice- once at the smaller Phoenix and now History. The sound was incredible at both shows. Kudos to their live sound engineer. Wasn’t so into hearing all of Pain Remains in sequence - touring entire albums is a current trend and gimmick IMO.

Lorna Shore was amazing and all of the openers too! Super super talented and did an amazing job interacting with the crowd and getting activity going. Really sweet and very heavy music. Sounds amazing live! Only complaint to the venue is that the lights were super bright and shined right in our faces so we had to watch some of the concert with our eyes closed

Can't say enough positive things about how this band performs on stage. Sounded exactly like their album. They bring the whole stage to life, and really make the crowd come together. I'd 100% go see them again
