Andrea Bocelli is one of the most recognizable voices in the world. For three decades, his lush arias and stylistic range have made him the bestselling classical solo artist in history (selling 90 million albums worldwide), leading to Celine Dion famously saying said that "if God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli.” The blind, Tuscany-born tenor’s concerts are a testament to his range and crossover appeal; Bocelli has become known for a blend of romantic operas by Puccini and Verdi, Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” and pop duets with stars like Dua Lipa. Over the course of his career, Bocelli has awed audiences from arenas and cathedrals to the Vatican and YouTube, where his 2020 “Music for Hope” Easter concert was viewed 28 million times worldwide within the first 24 hours.

Andrea...listening to him live was an experience i will always treasure. An artists with an angelic voice that brings tears to your eyes. Absolutely beautiful, powerful and WOW WOW WOW!!! So honoured to have experienced :)
I went to Bocelli's concert with and for my husband, as a Christmas gift to him. I prefer music I can sing along to and expected to be bored. I was so pleasantly surprised to find I enjoyed every moment of the show. The arias were moving even if I didn't understand the words and the Christmas songs and hymns were inspirational. Five encores were not enough! I am so glad I went.
The music was amazing; Delta R. was outstanding. What a voice! Bocelli was everything you would expect; his stage presence is a little flat, but his music is awesome. I also loved david foster. the whole show was first rate. A great start to the xmas season.
Poor arrangement, no chemistry with co-performers, a couple of favourites well-done as encores
What an absolutely incredible voice. The entire event was put together so well, the pictures on the screen fit beautifully with the music. The director was so animated and had wonder control over the orchestra. David Foster added some humour to the evening and engaged the audience.............Can't say enough good about it...absolutely fantastic.
AMAZING!!! Wonderful performance by Andrea. To feel Andrea's performance in your heart.....deserves 10 stars!!!
I have loved Anrea Bocelli's music for years but hearing him perform live was outstanding!! The stage was crowded with the orchestra and the choir so initially I was a little disappointed, especially since I so enjoyed the PBS special on his Vivere concert! But as the concert progressed I understood better - the staging faded into the background - it was his voice that soared and captivated the audience!! There was a lovely balance of opera and selections from his Christmas CD - and the encores were amazing - all of our favourites!!!! Every fan should see him perform live!!!
Just one word - FANTASTIC !!! And my review is NOT too short ;).
Once Celine Dion introduce Andrea to the audience by saying: " If God had a voice it would certainly be the one of Andrea Bocelli" I make mine those words...I cannot possibly add anything else!
excellent performance, absolutely stunning ......... you did it again Andrea
I did not stop crying throughout the two and half hour concert. He captured all of our senses in every way. His voice is a gift from above and he shares that gift modestly in every song he sings. He is the only classical/pop icon of our time.
Went to the concert last night excited to even get a ticket. However my best friend and I were very disappointed. As it was reviewed as a Christmas Tour was expecting to at least to see Christmas decorations on stage. As was like the concert which I had watched on the weekend on PBS where Andrea was with David Foster and was absolutley beautiful, You can imagine my disappointment while watching Toronto concert if you saw it.. We were cheated for what we paid for the tickets. Saw no David Foster. So there was no one to introduce say Hello and thankyou Toronto. I still don't know who the wonderful woman who sang with Andrea is. So no I would not recommend this concert. Disappointed.
The concert was amazing. Andrea has a beautiful voice, beautiful spirit! The songs were a mixture of very old italian songs and new Christmas songs.
I have wanted to see Andrea Bocelli for years. When I realized he was coming to Toronto, you have no idea how excited I was. My husband and I drove for several hours to see the concert, and I would have driven from much further. I have been to alot of concerts, but this was by far the best and most AMAZING.!! I would " LOVE" to see him again, and I hope he will schedule more concerts in Canada. I was also excited to see David Foster playing with him,and the conductor of the orchestra was absolutely great. I would recommend this concert to everyone .
The first half was very boring because it was solely opera and you need to love opera to fully enjoy that type of music. The second half was good, but Andrea shouldn't sing English Christmas Carols - he's just not suited for it and to sing Elvis Presley's Blue Christmas was not good! But the last 4 songs - yes! Amazing - that's why I went to see him!
The operatic first half showcased his excellent range and the background visuals from the operas helped interpret the songs for those not familiar with their origin. The second half felt warmer, more intimate and Andea seemed to enjoy himself more than 1st half. David Foster, the 2 guest singers, along with the amazing orchestra & choir all added wonderful elements. I would have preferred Andrea speaking / singing more Italian but that's just my preferznce & understandably have to adjust for audience. Overall, what a fabulous evening with the extreme pleasure of listening to Andrea's remarkable talent enhanced by the priviledge of seeing him live. Grazie tante, bravo!
Absolutely fantastic concert! The whole set up was lovely. The addition of the female singers and the songs played just by the orchestra made an all round fabulous show
Amazing show!! His voice is breathtaking! Highly recommend seeing him live!
truly an unforgettable expierence!!! I was lucky enough to see him before a few years back but this show was hands down the BEST concert I ever attended. I sat in the 4th row and it was truly incredible. From the conductor, to Andre'a guests, the kids, the music, DAVID FOSTER and of COURSE ANDREA BOCELLI!!! The man is an inspiration and truly a class act. He did more encores than any performer I've seen before. I am glad I attended with the 3 people who are very special to me and truly will never forget the expierence ever!!! Thanks so much for a truly incredible expierence and one we will never ever forget!!!
