While Andy Summers is best known as the guitarist for The Police, the legendary musician has forged a successful solo career with collaborations with Sting, jazz legend Herbie Hancock, King Crimson, guitarist Robert Fripp and more. The prolific musician has released 13 fusion-based solo albums, including his 1990 jazz-rock on 1990’s record Charming Snakes and 1995’s Synaesthesia. His diverse solo career has also included numerous exhibits showcasing his photography and scores composed for films like Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986) and Weekend at Bernie's (1989). As a member of The Police, Summers won five Grammy Awards and in 2003 was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with Sting and Stewart Copeland. You can hear Summers’ influential guitar work on The Police classics like “Message in a Bottle,” “Can’t Stand Losing You” and the Grammy-winning “Every Breath You Take.”

    An experience I've been waiting for for over 30 years!

    It was on my bucket list to see The Police perform but that wasn't in the cards unfortunately. Growing up in rural Nova Scotia left little opportunities to see their shows during they heyday and I regret not going to their Toronto reunion show. However, I now live close to Toronto and saw this upcoming show and knew I had to go. As a teen, The Police were my fave band and I had a huge crush on Andy, the cute one. This concert was a once in a lifetime experience to hear and see a master perform. Andy is a marvel on the guitar and I sincerely enjoyed his photography and stories. Thanks for continuing to share your talent with the world.

    The show was better than I expected and as a lifelong fan and fellow photographer, the mix in the show really worked effectively.
