Awesome show! These guys still can rock it! I would highly recommend this show!
So deep purple played for 30 minutes and it was only gillian as an original member from what i could tell. No one knew any of the songs they performed. I enjoyed seeing one of my favorite singers growing up live. Seeing him dance around like hes on 20 again was really awesome. JP however was killer and very loud. Hes still got his pipes and a different outfit for each song.
Anachronistic dinosaurs, but I should've realized that when I got the tickets.
Great opportunity to see both legends on the same day in a good size venue (and cold). It may be the last time these bands play here. The quality of newer and older songs still amzes me.
4 hours of great music! Was a little worried about the age of performers and the quality of the music but was not an issue, sounded amazing !
As the headline suggests, it was good not great. However expectations are limited when you consider the cost of the ticket, and in that regard it represented excellent value. Moving forward, the venue or promoter should be posting set times the day of, would've been really helpful.
Love Deep Purple this is my forth or fifth time seeing them in the last couple of years. I have never been disappointed. Did not care for Judas Priest.
this was one of the best concerts i have been to. great crowd great seats. it brought back a lot of memories of good times in the past. i would see them again and again .
The Temperance Movement, Judas Priest and Deep Purple made for a memorable Monday night in the Hammer
Waste of money and hearing: bad acoustics, JP set up a decent stage but unintelligible sound, specially the singer's voice was very distorted. DP didn't even bother with a stage, played from the boxes with screens in the back. For the old and older audience, they played very hard songs instead of mixing in some of their softer ballads. Money well wasted.
Both acts are well oiled after all these years. Delighted to see them live and still rocking it. Well worth the ticket price. Only gripe is that both bands needs to keep the track list and inter song duration very tight to keep concert time length in check. Not enough interaction with the audience. Felt a bit rushed.
Great concert highly recommend it!!! You won't be disappointed.
Judas Priest played old and new songs were very good, a lot of pyro and glitz only Priest can do. Deep Purple killed it, Ian Gillan for an old rocker delivered!
Priest was the best that I have seen them, and I have seen them 5 times since the 80's. Purple was very boring, and kinda flat and I was really looking forward to seeing them, since I listened to them in the 70's and 80's. They headlined, and we left early.
DP still rock'n hard and heavy all these many years!
This was an amazing double headliner , first time seeing Judas Priest and they did not disappoint . I have seen Deep Purple 5 times , one of my all time favorite Bands . They were incredibly tight and put on a great performance as always .
My sixth time seen the mighty Priest so I am biased. They are very entertaining and Rob Halford can still sing awesome. We were very fortunate to have the incredible Glenn Tipton come out for the encores. First time seeing Deep Purple and they were way better than I expected! So many stand out songs. So talented. Don Airy is incredible in keyboards.
Great night with 3 great bands ,had a blast thanks
Judas Priest should of head lined this show not Deep Purple. Ian Gillians voice is long gone and cant compare to Halfords but thats my opinion Priest did a great job and wish they could play all night.
amazing show, for guys as old as my parents, they still rock it out, long past normal retirement age, show no signs of slowing down, Ian's vocals are still sharp, Ian the lefty still plays like a young man, Roger keeps everyone grooving on Bass, Don, tho no John Lord, still tinkles the ivories amazingly and Steve shreds his axe beautifully love this band!!
