The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Awesome energy and a lot of fun. Great time. Very entertaining
Solid SmackDown. Opening segment was great, & main event was incredible. Women's match went too long. Was hoping Roman Reigns was going to be there
I took a roadtrip from New Brunswick to go to this event. Best experience I have ever had and I've been to disney. My son will talk about it for the rest of his life. A dream came true for him, a wish was granted. To be near theses amazing people. Just to be in their presence is exhilirating. Thank you WWE. Thank you Edge! Hi Bianca Belair. We love you!
Unfortunately was there to see the Bloodline and their absence was disappointing
That was an amazing experience, seeing Edges last match in Toronto was the best
We absolutely loved it the atmosphere, the fans ,seeing EDGE fight his last match against Sheamus and winning was amazing 👏 Happy Retirement to him we had awesome seats all and all best birthday gift my son ever received his words
Always an awesome time at a WWE event! Seeing Edge for the last time in Toronto was just awesome as was the rest of the card
Loved it …did a happy dance all the way back to the hotel
I went to a SmackDown event and I thought it was going to be a very exciting event but during the beginning of the event there was a match to make everyone excited to watch some more wrestling but then after the first match they did a talkshow segment and the event only got exciting during edge's retirement match. I'm glad that I didn't spend too much money on tickets but I doubt that I'll be going back to a SmackDown event again
My seats were way too high but everything was okay
Show was alright but wasn’t quite the VIP experience it said on the app after I got the tickets was a good show thou
The show was awesome. It was cool when Trish stratus and Becky lynch fought at the concession
Horrible seats in the upper bowl. Event lighting above ring for some dumb reason were directed to seats. Should have brought sunglasses just to see the big screen or the ring!
My first televised raw event ever and first wwe event I attended in over a decade was a great time. I almost got to see everyone I had hoped for (no LA Knight 😭) the dark matches were also a great treat. Only things I wish there was , LA Knight appearance and less time in-between matches for commercials and quite literally nothing when that's happening going on. Good on the wrestlers for interacting with the crowd during those moments
A WWE live event is unlike anything you are able to see. To see an episode of RAW live was especially a treat as we don’t get TV too much in Winnipeg. The effort WWE puts into making their shows unforgettable for fans in attendance is simply awe inspiring. To top it off, the current storylines are quite good and well thought out… the wrestlers themselves made great connections with the audience and the quality of matches was very high. One of the best wrestling events I have ever been to and has reignited my love of pro wrestling and for WWE.
To be honest sitting in floor was azaming and I got one wrestler sign my belt. I will love come back seat vip again
Great atmosphere and great experience. The action was awesome. Overall had a great time
Good event as always as WWE delivers an action packed card especially the TV Raw and Smackdown brands . Crowd was good but it wasn’t as jacked as a normal wrestling crowd in Winnipeg .
300 seating garbage. Glass to close no le room never get those seats again
The sound was so horrible we could hardly hear what the wrestlers were saying. Too many stoppages for TV timeouts. AEW handled everything so much better, better sound, better flow to the event, and more wrestlers!!!
