Avenged Sevenfold is a heavy metal quintet from Huntington Beach, California that has spent over two decades as one of the genre’s biggest mainstream crossover acts. They’ve earned six certified platinum albums, four Billboard Hot 100-charting singles and nearly three billion YouTube streams. Formed in 1999, the band adopted their stage names M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev and Synyster Gates ahead of their 2001 debut album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. It wasn’t until the band added bassist Johnny Christ and transitioned to a more progressive metal sound for their 2003 follow-up Waking the Fallen that they began to resemble the uninhibited, creative force that fans recognize today. A7X’s 2005 major label debut City of Evil propelled the band to a wider audience behind the breakout single “Bat Country,” and their 2007 self-titled album built on those gains with a No. 4 debut on the Billboard 200. Following the death of drummer The Rev in 2009, Avenged Sevenfold regrouped for 2010’s Nightmare, which topped the Billboard 200 and hosted their highest Hot 100 hit “Nightmare” as well as the touching tribute “So Far Away,” which became their first No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. 2013’s Hail to the King also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was followed by 2016’s The Stage, which garnered the band’s first Grammy nomination in the Best Rock Song category for its title track. In 2023, Avenged Sevenfold came roaring back after five years off the road with Life Is but a Dream…

Bad sound, terrible mix, drum sounded awful with cymbals miced very improperly. Guitars, bass, and drums got lost in the mix in choruses and heavy parts.
Great show and organization. Avenged Sevenfold was awesome. Poppy and Sullivan King did a great job as well.
A7X was amazing! They had a great mix of older hits new songs and deep cuts.
Outstanding event!!! I've never seen something like that! Totally worth!
I took my son for his birthday. He loves Avenged Sevenfold. I was not familiar with the band…but now I’m a new fan ❤️ what a show!!!!
First class concert from A7X. Without a doubt the best concert I’ve ever been to. The special effects were good, the vocal and the music were LOUD!! as they should be. Well done to all involved.
Avenged Sevenfold are one of the best bands I have ever seen live. This is the 3rd time we see them. They never disappoint.
3 amazing bands! Seats disappointing because of the way the stage was set up. Could not see the whole back half of the stage. Could not see the drummer at all. Section 118 should not have been seated with this stage set up (stage to the ceiling view blocked).
Overall good experience but food and pop a little too expensive I spent $40 on 2 hot dogs and an ice tea. Staff everywhere were very friendly and upbeat. As for the concert it was awesome except it was hard to hear the words it sounded mumbled. Other than those small things it was still an exceptional experience
Was a good show, fairly decent mix of old and new songs, though a little disappointed they didn't play a little piece of heaven. The opening acts were an interesting mix and not just generic bands which was nice.
They were absolutely incredible live. Most amazing concert I have ever been to!! I tooky 14 year old son who after the concert is now their biggest fan!!
Show was awesome. Synyster Gates pointed at my 8 year old daughter and had security give her a pick he was playing with. Class act
Love A7X, and they are even better live!! Syn blows my mind!! Best guitarist since Hendrix ❤️🎸❤️ Amazing show and great experience. Thank you, please come back soon
I absolutely loved it, one of the best shows i have ever seen. I love Avenged Sevenfold since high school but seeing them live is a completely different experience. I would definitely go again to see them. The opening act was okay xd
This is one of the best live bands you will see. They dipped into every album and played for almost 2 hours. What a show!
I love avenged sevenfold I listen to them on my octane and I have been wanting to see them live since before COVID . I had bought tickets and the tour was cancelled due to vocal problem with M shadows. I had 10 tickets 6 on my account and 4 my son and his buddies and we all thought that the sound at the Scotia arena was horrible we couldn't understand much. I
The music, lights & performance was incredible, five stars for that.. but if you’re expecting a mosh pit, tons of jumping & amped up people.. you’re going to the wrong concert. Maybe it’s a thing of the past, but yeah.. a few people trying to crowd surf & being pulled down within seconds by security if they hadn't already been dropped, but yeah, no moshing in Toronto.. felt weird to even be jumping.
Loved every second! Hope they come back to Toronto soon.
Was a great show..but sound guys could have fixed the loud screeching the speakers a little faster happened multiple times throughout the show
The sound kept cutting out periodically throughout Avenged Sevenfold's set. Othe then that, the bass was a little to high in the mix which really dampered the rest of the instruments, and the backing vocals were almost inaudible. All in all was still a great show, with some room to improve.
