Avril Lavigne is a multi-platinum singer-songwriter from Ontario, Canada. At just seventeen, she blazed a trail as one of the foremost voices of the pop-punk explosion of the early 2000s — thanks in large part to her 2002 smash debut album Let Go. Featuring Top 10 singles like “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi” and “I’m With You,” the album went on to sell more than 16 million copies worldwide. Since then, Lavigne has gone on to release No. 1 albums like 2004’s Under My Skin and 2007’s The Best Damn Thing as well as 2011’s Goodbye Lullaby, 2013’s Avril Lavigne and 2019’s Head Above Water. In 2022, the eight-time Grammy nominee and bonafide princess of pop-punk helped herald the genre’s resurgence with her seventh studio album Love Sux.

Congrats!! to all the singers before Avril, The Cab great!, Evan Taubenfeld awesome!! The New Cities Amazing. Avril I really expected a great show from you, but this was so disappointing. First after the great energy from The New Cities you made us wait for you to sing for almost 1 hour, the stage nothing spectacular at all, the sound was sometimes crappy and sometimes good, no big screens, and then you play with the craw like we were your toys. Oh Well!! I forgive you because you are still my idol, but I think we deserve much better show and more respect. I hope you come back soon to Edmonton with a better show.
Avril lavigne and the new cities were absolutley amazing!!
It was the first time my daughter and I saw her live. She was awesome! Her voice sounded just like her albums. That's a sign of a true singer when they sound the same as their album. She was entertaining and the crowd loved her.
LOVE it !!!! We can not wait till she comes back to Regina again!
It really sucked that there were no video monitors on each side of the stage so one could actually see Avril and or the Band. While the show and sounds were great, her performance 8 years earlier with the video monitors was clearly a better event.
A great night by all . I wasn't sure it would be fab but avril was very entertaining , the supporting bands were great too . My two daughters loved it too !
Avril is absolutely amazing live! She's a great singer and kick-ass performer! I would definately go again!
Love Avril and her songs. Very nice live performance.
My daughter and I were very disappointed in this concert ... Seemed more like a love fest for her and Evan ... And really wasn't worth it
I thought that her and her band sounded great but i was a little surprised that they did not have any big screens to watch the concert on! Couldn't really see them that well! :(
The only song she didn't do was Keep Holding on, otherwise she did every great song and some good ones. It was almost the perfect show for me.
The headliner was great. Avril had a great play list with a mix of old and new. The acoustic ending was good and provided some variety.
Avril was amazing, she is very talented. The only thing I would have liked is, if Avril had of played for longer then an hour. She also should have had more costume, not just one outfit the whole time.
Awesome concert in the Peg. Avril is so down to earth feels like she grew up in winnipeg.
So, I enjoyed my time there. But sad to say I enjoyed her opening act "The New Cities" the best. I think I would have enjoyed Avril a lot more, if the system hadn't made her sound off key or something. That or if she maybe had a cold? but either way she didn't sound as great as expected but the show was still awesome and I enjoyed all the songs!
Avril rocked the stage! My friends and I didn't want her concert to end!
To begin with, the openers. Evan T. (Avril's best friend ) had a short set with 3 or 4 songs. The new cities were next, their set was about 40 minutes. Overall , both were fairly entertaining. Avril started the show with black star. She sang probably every one of her singles as well as some songs from her current album, Goodbye Lulliby. She is much better live than she was on her last tour, much stronger vocals and better stage presence. I have been a fan since day one and I throughly enjoyed this concert. My favorite moment by far was when she sang I'm with You. She got the croud to join in and it was unforgettable . She had a long encore performance singing Nobody's Home, Everybody Hurts and Complicated. Overall a 5 star concert. I love you Avril! Definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive from Saskatoon to Regina.
Very disappointed with this show. The second band, was probably the best part of the show. Avril's lack of set changes and outfits was non exhistant. She wasn't very interactive with her fans, and for a 'rock' show it was about as 'crazy' as a jazz festival. My 11 years old said as we left after the show...we learned a valuable lesson tonight. Next time she comes to tow, we won't be going... even if we win free tickets!
Great Family Friendly Event...lots of fun and a wide variety of songs
