Avril Lavigne is a multi-platinum singer-songwriter from Ontario, Canada. At just seventeen, she blazed a trail as one of the foremost voices of the pop-punk explosion of the early 2000s — thanks in large part to her 2002 smash debut album Let Go. Featuring Top 10 singles like “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi” and “I’m With You,” the album went on to sell more than 16 million copies worldwide. Since then, Lavigne has gone on to release No. 1 albums like 2004’s Under My Skin and 2007’s The Best Damn Thing as well as 2011’s Goodbye Lullaby, 2013’s Avril Lavigne and 2019’s Head Above Water. In 2022, the eight-time Grammy nominee and bonafide princess of pop-punk helped herald the genre’s resurgence with her seventh studio album Love Sux.

Was a great show full of Avril's greatest hits from 2000s. Her voice is still great!
Avril always puts on an excellent show. We saw her 15 years ago and this week and both shows were great. However, the sound was tinny at Rogers Place in Edmonton. This is the third concert I have went to that the sound was not great. There seems to be a tinny sound and lack of bass. Avril's was the best sound as most songs sounded decent, but when we went to Guns and Roses in the past year it sounded like they forgot to plug their instruments in. Rogers Place had this occur when it first opened and we saw John Fogerty, but it seemed to improve over time but now its back to not sounded great. Considering the cost for concerts, the sound should be impeccable.
Avril Lavigne was AMAZING. Put on a wicked show. Owned the stage. Only downfall is the person controlling the sound, thankfully it got kinda fixed by the time Avril came on but there was a lot more instrumental overpowering the singing with the opening acts. Same issue when Kane brown was here. Could barely hear him. Needs to definitely be fixed and adjusted. The feedback wasn’t the greatest when it came to that. Please fix the sound bar
Avril was amazing like she always is but whoever was working the sound board didn’t seem like they really knew what they were doing. We constantly got feedback and the instruments were way too loud compared to the vocals. Do better Rogers Place, if you keep this up I will no longer go to concerts if they’re at that venue.
An all around great show with a lot of energy from the performers AND the crowd. However, the mix on the microphones was not great. When Avril spoke to the audience between songs, it was difficult to understand her. My daughters felt the exact same, one even commenting that had she not known the words to the songs, she would not have been able to sing along because it was "garbled". Asked a friend who was seated in a different part of the arena, and they had the same issue. Very unusual for Rogers in Edmonton, where the sound is usually excellent.
My girls enjoyed it, and that’s all that matters to me. The sound where we were sitting was horrible, you could only hear about half the music properly. I was extremely disappointed that when Fefe Dobson was performing the 2 screens only showed her name and didn’t show her performance. We were so far back you couldn’t see anything. Why would they put both other bands on the screens but not her? That was a huge mistake because she was Amazing and it mad me angry that we couldn’t SEE any of her performance. Otherwise the show was ok.
This concert was advertised as Avril with Simple Plan and All Time Low and that’s why we went. Not to see two other bands. Very very disappointing with how this was advertised, I would have gone to a different city to see the concert if we would have been told when purchasing the tickets. Avril was awesome!!
This was the first time I watched Avril’s concert, and I wish I could do it all again! The sound, lights and fireworks were awesome! I wish it could have been longer, lol. But honestly, it was a really good concert. Also, finding our seat section was quite simple. When we got there, the worker helped us locate our section. We were all the way in the nose bleed seats. Overall, 5 out of 5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a great show! More confetti and party streamers than I have ever seen before! It was a great experience!
Her Greatest Hits show was without a doubt the best concert I have attended in years. Simple Plan and Fefe Dobson were icing on the cake. Just a perfect teenage dream for this Millenial!
Was truly an amazing show! Fefe Dobson and Simple Plan were the openers and both put on a great show! And it was my first Avril concert, she was spectacular!
The audio was too loud and saturated of low frequencies... in general the sound could have been better. The good thing the organization and the visual show, just amazing Excellent!
Absolutely love the concert great warm up bands. Can’t wait until next time
Amazing concert was a blast felt like high school again overall awesome show
I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the headliner at this concert, which I never thought I would say. There just seemed to be a lack of enjoyment to be putting on the show and that she was just going through the motions. The set list was great and hearing Avril sing live 22 years later was still a great experience. However, I really did feel that Fefe Dobson & Simple Plan put on a better show at the end of the day. Overall it was still a good show but just a bit lackluster.
Thought to myself after Feebee Dobson wow amazing how can this get any better then Simple plan rocked the arena and I was thinking best concert ever then Avril took the stage and she was the cherry on the top! best time ever, screamed, jumped, dance and sang until my voice was horse!
Was a very good one.. Enjoyed it from the start to the finish. Maybe the sound system needs to be improved
I have been to about 200 concerts in my life, and this is probably in the top 5. TONS OF ENERGY! It started with Fefe Dobson, then Simple Plan cranked it up even more and then Avril. Particularly liked bringing on Fefe for Simple Plan's Jet Lag and then bringing Fefe and Simple Plan for a couple of songs (Addicted and Mr. Brightside) with Avril. A FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC SHOW!
Absolutely wonderful experience. I appreciated how great security was on top of things. Being in the pit and having security throughout to make sure it was a wonderful, safe, and civil experience for everyone else was so appreciated. And of course Avril put on an amazing show. This was my first concert in Winnipeg and I was so impressed with the stadium and effort to make it a seamless experience.
