About

BACHMAN & TURNER IN CONCERT:

Canadian classic rock heroes Bachman & Turner are back on the road in 2014, treating fans to marathon sets of nostalgic hits like "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" and "Let It Ride." The duo rose to international superstardom in the '70s as Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and although they've dropped the "overdrive" from their name in the new millennium, they haven't lost any of their hard-charging spark. Amid rumors that they'll be performing their seminal 1974 album Not Fragile end-to-end on their 2014 tour dates, gearheads from coast to coast are lining up for a chance to catch these legends in concert.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

After rising to prominence with The Guess Who in the '60s, guitarist Randy Bachman formed Bachman-Turner Overdrive with singer Fred Turner in the early '70s. While their eponymous 1973 debut album was a moderate success, it was sophomore album Bachman-Turner Overdrive II that really put them on the map, generating huge sales in the US and Canada thanks to hit singles "Taking Care of Business" and "Let It Ride." Third album Not Fragile was an even bigger success, topping the Billboard 200 and producing classic rock standard "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet." Reunited in 2010 as Bachman & Turner, the duo continue to record and tour, with a handful of highly anticipated appearances scheduled for 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"...Bachman and Turner rocked out...these two guys are still fantastic after all these years. Turners voice is so authentic and Randy's guitar playing is unbelievable.”

"These guys have gotten better with age. The show was outstanding! Music played just like you remember and the crowd was on their feet!"

"...one heck of a great concert. Randy played that guitar ..... Just WOW. His vocals were perfect. Turner played great... They looked like they were having fun and the crowd responded with standing ovations."

You just ain't seen nothin yet!

This is the fourth time I've seen Bachman & Turner in their current configuration, and by far the best show yet! Paul Rodgers opening for B+T was truly a special bonus. Great setlist of classics, Randy is at the top of his game like never before. C.F. Turner's vocals were spot on, and his bass playing is incredible. I will be seeing them again any time they play within 100 miles of home! This band is definitely on my list of "Must See" performers......... do yourself a favour and grab a ticket.

    Great rockin' evening

by LennyBoy on 2011-09-12Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

One of the most enjoyable concerts in awhile. While B&T were great, Paul Rogers exceeded them, showing why he is one of the best singers around today. Lots of hard driving riffs, a few ballads, but fans were on their feet much of the night.

Paul Rodgers was more than an opening act!!!

by Tazzer on 2011-09-12Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

We really enjoyed Paul Rodgers strong and exuberant performance; it never seemed to end. His voice was clearly heard above the music. However, it was sometimes difficult to hear Randy Bachman's voice over the music. We thought the concert would end at 11:00 pm curfew time. We would prefer the concert to start earlier at 7:00 or 7:30 and end by 11:00 pm or earlier. We have a 1 hour drive back to Hamilton after the concert.
